Yes, I like this idea! Having the option to fade it is a witty idea since it is plot-important.
I don't like seeing it at all and will most likely try to cover the screen or seek gameplay's on Youtube to secure my eyes ahaha ... So since it's plot-important, I will not try to interfere with your decision, of course, but this option seems plausible, and if it's doable on your end, I would appreciate it! 2) I imagined a woman in her late 20s in regards to her young speech patterns, and since the name color was a lighter pink from Zu's Pallet, I imagined the same with her appearance in terms of color, and it seems cute to have them have the same color but a different shades like he has a part of her. I also imagined her to have a more messy appearance or just less put-together concerning her dialogue choices and carefree vibe.
3) Absolutely; it already has a nice off-putting atmosphere, so I think it would fit in nicely. and I think if you have the mood of the game dependent on the choices of the MC, it would also be something nice to ponder about, so it would be according to if she was especially kind and sincere to him, or neglecting and avoident, or jelouse and clingy, or whatever on that end.
4) I think it's perfect. I find some fonts very bothersome to read that I would prefer to use my glasses although I don't need them, but this one was very clear; in fact, it gives off a fitting vibe for this specific genre.
