Still alive and kicking for sure! Looks like you experienced a bug with the mic - the mic is part of gameplay and the icon should light up white when it detects input. I'll look into fixing it for future playthroughs.
Just uploaded a potentially fixed version - if anyone experiences any more issues with the mic feature please let me know
