That makes sense, but there is a rule that says all games must be complete and fully working. I don't understand if the game needs to be complete just before the deadline or, when you upload the game, it needs to be totally complete.
Hi there! I believe on itch, submissions can be amended as long as it's before the deadline of 31st Oct. This is fine if you need to make amendments. It just must be completed before the final deadline.
