In some ways I wish I could partner up with someone to improve the game, but I'm on my own... but since this project doesn't make money (I did get some donations but it doesn't cover how much I spent on RPGmaker MV on steam and some extra DLCs (mainly for tiles/bgms),so I'm not seeing how I could hire somebody else to fix some of my mess, but I feel it wouldn't be my game any longer if I would partner with somebody else.

you can pay someone for a specific job, like
"Bug tester" that will play your game and search for the problem in the game
for "but I feel it wouldn't be my game any longer" you do not need to worry, because if you have a bug tester you can clean it before releasing on publicly and you can work faster and for that,
Or you can make a Patreon account and give early access on that, so the paid members can play Early Access your game and can find any bug and report that to you, making you more able to update monthly on story or detail
and for them 'Patreon member' their name will be available on the game and get monthly exclusive art(won't send into public)
