how do you set it up? i try to open it in windows but the launching site tells me to set it up, and it keeps saying the file name is incorrect. and i cant understand anything else its saying because its all question marks and other symbols

You may have to change your system locale to Japan if its only showing you strange symbols. Be sure to have the RPGMaker 2000 rtp installed as well just in case. The file should work fine otherwise,, All i did was dl the reboot from funamuseas page , extract the zip and drag/drop all files onto the reboot folder
