I guess im also bad at rythim games, couldnt get past level 4, for me something that complicates the game is the varied height jump, I know its considered something good in platformers but in this case I would prefer to have the jump set to a certain height so I dont need to keep holding the button and loose my rythim. It looks quite good with the trail, death screen transition and smooth obstacle animation + the beats are nice !

Thank you! Looking back, I think a lot of the frustration comes from feeling as though you've jumped to the beat, only for your player to do a tiny hop and smack straight into a void. Maybe if there was some sort of crouch-then-jump mechanic, the player could know ahead of time if they had got the input right or not, and reacted accordingly...
