man, this one was super fun when i could get it going, but it was so hard to do it. the fast pace is kind of a blessing and a curse. there were a lot of times where I wanted slightly finer control over my character's speed in order to attack a nearby enemy. then again, the high speed lets you soar up in the air and attack enemies as well.
I spent way too long waiting for orbs to float around into the right position so I could finally get a chance to swing at them
one of the most original mechanics i've seen this jam, and it really is nicely implemented overall. awesome work! congrats on this submission
