Love the style, you've captured the "I'm sorry Jon" feeling really well! Most of the issues I had you've addressed in the comments so I won't go on about them. I do feel that the game over screen should take you right back into the level instead of having to go through the main menu and controls screen. I also think that the jumps were a bit fiddly having to stand on small raised blocks to be able to jump to the next platform, either the platforms could have lowered or the jump height increased.
