Another fascinating glimpse into the endless challenges of design. I really enjoy these devlogs, though I can't wait for the game to be released.

FYI, I don't think "gun out" is as clear as it could be. "No ammo" might be better.

Personally, I think "Reload" might be the most clear option since No Ammo could also imply that the player is completely out of ammunition for the weapon instead of just needing to load from reserves.

Thank you both for the feedback. In truth, no ammo makes more sense, because you never actually “reload”. It’s not like torpedoes that need to be micro managed by the captain.  The gun crew fetches shells to feed the gun as long as they’re available. This will make more sense when I’ll show the gun attack sequence.

The only way to get ammo when you’re out is to meet with a Type XIV re supply U-boat. 
I already changed the icon.
