Is it even possible to escape the stupid Lamia!? EVERY TIME I THINK I'M ABOUT TO SUCCEED SHE PULLS ME BACK INTO HER FIRST STOMACH! AND THE FRQUENCY IN WHICH SHE AUTOPULLS YOU INTO HER SECOND STOMACH IS RAGE INDUCING TO PUT IT MILDLY! ... Ahem I apologize for the outburst but it's like you either put no thought whatsoever into balancing her out in terms of difficulty or you just made her impossible to escape from. honestly if I quit it'll be because of the stupid lamia. please either balance her out so that she's more reasonable to deal with, have scene where she lets you out if your there for too long, or at least let us have an option to remove certain predators. Because this is absurd and has more or less rendered the game unpayable.

Thanks for the feedback, though I don't think this game, or most things in life, is worth 'rage'ing over. I'd recommend finding a different outlet to let some of the 'rage' out if needed.
I put in a lot of time testing my own game. Sometimes the smallest change can ruin something very important, which is why I had to update to 0.71 right away, but regarding Lamia I confirmed myself that escape is possible many times. I also let people generous enough to offer their time to test and give feedback on Lamia play the game for a whole week before this release and the general response was that Lamia is in a tough, but good position.
The testers I have do seem to be of the 'hard core gaming' breed, as there have certainly been a number of suggestions and complaints regarding Lamia's difficulty since this version's release. Not sure if you'd be pleased to know(?), but Lamia will be easier in the next version release.
Hope you'll give it another shot sometime down the road if you like some of what the game has to offer. The game is constantly evolving, it'll be very rare that I get everything right on the first go around. There are tools available in-game to help reduce what some may find annoying parts of the game like Simple Load, Debug menu, and the tip screens to know exact predator locations to avoid them if desired.
