Thank you for the compliments of the art style, that's much appreciated. 

I can definitely see how a long restart time can affect the immersion of a game, and this is duly noted for future games.

The difficulty was definitely a spike upon reviewing it, and one way we could address that is how the enemies actually attack you, them attacking at all times isn't really fair, I do think if we were to have it so that bullets couldn't pass through walls and floors as well as the enemy only attacking you upon seeing you, that would lower the spike dramatically.
