Perfect Love is such a cool game!! I liked it a lot (I think I made that obvious over on tumblr too, but now that I've finished it I figured I ought to leave a comment here, too)

[SPOILERS, kinda]

I have to admit it was fun to play a yandere visual novel where we are, arguably, the antagonist (and we're not even the yandere!) Eris is an absolutely reprehensible character, and I had a whole lot of fun playing them. Their aspirations for a relationship are utterly twisted, and they certainly go through unsavory methods to get what they want.

The whole way through, I felt so bad for Milo.
Admittedly, even if the outcomes were pretty terrifying, it was nice to see him happy in the two main routes. For all that Eris turned him into, at the end of the day he was just happy when he could have them all to himself... even if he went to some pretty terrifying lengths to have them.

(As an aside, I really adored Violence!Milo for some reason 😂 I wasn't much of a fan of being beaten up by him in a few endings (not that Manipulation!Milo didn't also use some violent methods), but as someone who has dealt with manipulative partners in the past... I'd say the one who uses brute force was somehow less scary. Plus I was a big fan of his aesthetic!)

The Perfect Love route (ending(s)?) was very rough, though.
Milo had his entire world shattered in both variants, and that was just... painful. Poor guy. You really captured the agony of having his perception about his love crumble around him.
And yet, I have a feeling he'll still choose Eris over everyone and everything, anyhow.

Overall, it was fun to have a game where two monsters embrace being terrible and love each other. Even if Milo wouldn't have been a monster before he met Eris, he certainly became one after.

I'm not sure if you plan to make any more visual novels in the future, but the one you have made is fantastic!
I'm looking forward to seeing what you add to it in future updates!
(And, also, I plan to try and find some of the references you have in it, now that I've done a whole proper playthrough)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you liked it. I actually did have an easter egg for you for the name, but I didn't end up putting it in this version. No worries though, when I release the update, it will be in there, I promise.

Yeah, I think it's a fun difference. It's really fun to play as a villain character, and it also lends itself more to the horror drama. I've always liked the idea of a character that is worse than the yandere. I'm glad you like Violence Milo though, his style is very different from the type of characters I normally draw, so it's very nice that I have a lot of positive responses for him.

The tragedy of it all is pretty fun, even if it is rather sad.

Ah yes, thank you! I am planning on working on a different game after this one. It was actually the game I was working on previously, but I was thinking of trying to make it in Godot. It will be a lot lighter in tone and more comedic base. Also has a yandere as a side character as well, I hope that it will be a fun game too.

Let me know which easter eggs you liked!

For me?? ;///; I'm really flattered. Thank you. I look forward to getting a chance to see it!

I agree! It honestly made the story more compelling than having an innocent MC in a lot of ways. I was both rooting for Eris and Milo's relationship, while feeling very conflicted about everything that happens.
And you really did a great job with Violence Milo's design! I realize that I didn't go super into detail about how much I love your art for this game, but it's a very aesthetically pleasing game. I'm very fond of all of the designs (the Milos are my favorite in general, even beyond how much I like V!Milo's design) and the black and white/monochrome scheme with just a little bit of color is really cool

Ooh, I'm excited to see the game you're working on. If you do make it in Godot, I hope it goes smoothly! (I've heard Godot has a similar language to Python? So hopefully it ends up pretty easy)

Ahh! Okay, so, I won't put any actual spoilers for the easter eggs here, but as far as the name ones go: I had a lot of fun with what happens when we put in bad words, and it was also cool to see how it goes when we put in the in-game characters names.
But out of the name ones, my favorites were Vance, Alan, and Tenebris (and I enjoyed when we input your screennames)
I haven't found all of the nickname ones yet (I can't remember all of the nicknames yanderes call the MC), but Sunshine, DoeEyes, and Muse made me smile.
(Beyond that, I am struggling to find some of the ones in the code/files xD I'm really bad at that sort of stuff, sadly. And I haven't found the one on the home-screen yet)
