I noticed it before but forgot to mention it:
the itch.io launcher is having troubles with everything changes on certain platforms.

This is because of the exclamation mark in the folder and program name. Can you consider dropping it?

Thanks!

Are you saying this because you know it for sure? or is it a guess? until now I have not had any problem, unless they are new rules. thanks to you

Yes, on linux at least (so most likely also on mac), the itch.io app uses a security wrapper to isolate executed programs (called firejail). It runs applications into a sandbox to avoid giving access to more data than necessary.

To run the VN, one has to remove the exclamation mark from the folder name, the 'EverythingChanges!.sh' and 'lib/py3-linux-x86_64/EverythingChanges!' files.

The bug was already reported to itch.io but their client didn't get any update since 2021.

ok! thanks for the info. I don’t know if this is a change that is best done right away or in the next version. Because if I change the name now, it doesn’t upload the file to me and the people who bought it can’t access that file but they should make a new purchase. Also itch.io does not allow refund, but only if the customer requires it. Now I see what I can do! Thanks again
