I like the concept. Almost like a wizard version of Vampire survivor. To much control buttons I find that less is more. I suggest spawn the spells with icons on the map that player can choose to pick and changes then implement a upgrades for slots on how many the player can hold onto at one time. Then make the enemies a little bigger. Lastly make the top down movement settings to 8 directions instead of 4 that way your movements will be smoother. For the most its in the theme with the earth quake well done.
