There's one more cell that can become red. I'm stuck there too, I can get 401 now but I still don't see how to get 405 in just three moves.

e: got it now, I forgot about keyboard movement.

Is the collection bugged for "Win with all B rank equips"? I've done that a couple times but didn't get the stamp.

Have you looked through all the levels with "bell" in the name?

Farms and bushes make the critters appear faster, it was mentioned on the Ludum Dare page but not this one. And huts increase the max population.

The Ludum Dare page has the details:

"You need houses to allow for more little guys to be there, and you need berry gatherers and farms to make little guys appear faster."

"⚠️Hold click on the very first fire nest, or the game will crash!⚠️"

To mine a diamond you need the critter with a helmet, it's supposed to appear after you upgrade the fire with three iron, a flame critter, and a plain critter. Mine didn't show up the first time I made that upgrade, I had to upgrade a second fire to get it.

It's not just you, I'm getting the same thing with the same crash log.

Edit: OK, I should have read the rest of the instructions about this jam version:

"⚠️Hold click on the very first fire nest, or the game will crash!⚠️"

After holding click, the game worked fine for me.

There are only a few sensible options for where the 3-long piece can go. When you find the right one, at least a couple other pieces might fall into place when you think about the possibilities for a nearby endpoint. There are four L-shaped pieces, so you'll also need to think about all the places you can put them while still leaving room for all the other branching paths that are going to be necessary.

If you made it to this level without needing help, I'm confident you can get this one too. There's a solution in one of the videos below but I don't think you need it, if you feel like giving up then maybe come back later and give it a fresh try.

Are the buttons around the C-side hiding any extra secrets? They feel puzzle-y.  I tried clicking them in chronological order, but some of them show up in game at the same time.

I had to turn the volume way up to hear the voices and even then they were still a little hard to understand sometimes, if it's possible to add subtitles they'd be helpful.

In my first session I gave up at the sliding puzzle because the controls didn't feel suited for it, there were lots of halting little motions and shelves constantly catching against each other instead of smooth slidng.

In my second session I somehow ended up clipping the piano through the locked door and ended up stuck.

No more fish sandwiches? No! More fish sandwiches!

(somehow the game froze for me the first time I made the fish sandwich, when I quit and tried again it worked fine the second time)

I reached the non-ending ending, and I really enjoyed what you have so far, I'm looking forward to playing the rest of it if you finish the game later.

This is the best game about South American Buddhists that I've ever played.

Thanks! I tried again and found both items.

I gave Olive the serial adapter, but then Olive acts like she doesn't have it and Cobol says she's still searching for it.

I'm having a couple issues with the level selector, it won't let me select level 8 and the gem for level 11 won't stay saved. Aside from those minor issues I really enjoyed the game.

Took a couple tries but I got all four endings, thanks fkchaud for mentioning the two I didn't get the first time (and for mentioning how to keep the wizard alive).

I encountered a couple minor bugs:

  • If I use the Gods Bile on the fire first, then the hair and the angel blood, the game becomes stuck. I can't use the fire, my inventory is inaccessible, the only possibilities are to load an earlier save or start a new game. Edit: OK, not completely stuck, I can still leave the screen and then come back and use the fire and it works after coming back. But without leaving first, the fire gives a "You can't use that" message.
  • After a while the close-up view of the conception no longer updates graphically. I have to exit the close-up view and then look at the conception in my inventory to see which side is active.

I died of cringe, 5 stars!

Found them. Nice poem but D should go back on their meds.

The most satisfying quest was giving Cpt Skelly their body, and I enjoyed all the little fun bits like the "do not open" chest and the normal cow. The most frustrating part was losing coins on every hard bump, especially if they land in ways that make them tricky to retrieve like in between characters and objects.

Thanks, thought I had all the bottles but I missed that one. I found it now!

Does the shovel do anything yet?  Feels like I've completed everything else and I couldn't find a use for it.  And is Rae supposed to have any dialogue?  She had some dots above her head when I first approached, but then they disappeared and I haven't been able to talk to her.

Enjoyed this one, although I managed to loop through a previously completed segment by clicking on an airlock in the late game.

For those last few platforms you have to use the wheel and the flower at the same time to get enough speed and height.

Thanks for mentioning that, I played it again and the way to the bullet hell game was open this time.

I just kept shaking random hands and eventually got the door unlock sound and the credits, no idea if there's a correct way to puzzle through it.

It's not computer time, there's a way to set the in-game clock time on another screen.

7zip doesn't seem to recognize it, but PeaZip worked for me.

Love this game and I got 4/6 endings (a cowardly ending, a revenge ending, a cyclical ending, and an earned ending).  No idea what to do for the other two, although I have some unused items that seem important.

Thanks Minty! I hadn't noticed that the first clue was a clue.  After seeing that part I was able to breeze through the rest of it.  When I played the first time I spent too much time trying to figure out what to do with what ended up being the last clue.

No, it's not supposed to look like that.  I just played through the game and there wasn't any total darkness anywhere.

Thanks, it's working now!

Thanks!  I mean the passage using the east orb, when I go that way and try to go back it won't take me back to the little grove with the three passages opened by the north/south/east orbs.  So I'm stuck in the eastern area because I can't afford a galleon yet and I can't go back.

(1 edit)

Why is the passage east one-way instead of two-way?  The other passages were two-way, it's taking a long time to farm 1000 coins from just goblins, and it'd take even longer for my armored/shielded/leveled/dextrous character to die and resurrect.

I played for way too long with wingdings, thinking it was part of the game experience, before I noticed you're supposed to install the fonts.
