I actually used a free and open source engine called Twine (http://twinery.org/) to make the game. Twine allows you to create non-linear stories that can be published in almost site that support HTML5 games, and you can extend your stories with variables, conditional logic, images, CSS, JavaScript, etc. It's a cool engine, and i absolutely recommend it to those who want to make their first game.
Fun but simple game, a bit challenging too. I hate to tell you this but i don't think you followed the jam's theme closely like i did, but still, i liked the game nonetheless.
Also, i'd recommend you to update your game after the jam ends. (Update the graphics, add more levels, add items, checkpoints, etc.)
Hello there, my friends! ;D For the next 24 hours, i'll be rating games from users that rate my game. I'm only 9 ratings away from 20, so any kind of feedback and ratings is greatly appreciated. ;)
(NOTE: I will only play n' rate web browser games, and those which can be played using WASD or a mouse, or both. Why? Because the left key of my laptop is (somehow) broken since an year ago.)
