Well, you did better for the cover than I did. I didn't put much thought into it and from yours I realise that it is important. As you did hook me, the hook just wasn't how I interpreted it initially.  If the main mechanics were more interesting I'd definetly enjoy this a lot more.

I like your game. However the core mechanics aren't too interesting yet I think. This game kind of reminds me of portal 2, mainly because of the robots. Initially, based on the cover photo I thought I'd be playing as the robot causing destruction or something. That's what made me want to play. Though that's not what I experienced so that was kind of disapointing. I think you should either of made the player a robot, or included the gun in the cover in some way. Then I think it would mislead me less. Also I'm not quite sure what the upgrading did. The weapon box didn't increase my ammo and didn't increase my rate of fire as far as I could see. I'm not sure what it did. I think you should of also added some way of regenerating your health.

This game was quite fun indeed. Sometimes it refused to suck in until I
did some fiddling around and then it did. At one point a book bugged and
positioned diagonally on the book shelf. I wasn't quite sure where to put
the teddy bears, in the cuboard they didn't seem to fit like everything
else to me.

Not sure why this doesn't appear here, I'll send again.

Okay very fun game! I really like the simple yet  addictive mechanics. It reminds me of the times I played games like Ratchet and Clank when you're introduced to a new gadget. Love it! Nice sound effects too.

Here are a few things I noted while playing your game:

-It's incredibly easy to fall out of the map

So I reccomend in future to sort out your collisions, think not only where the collisions are because of the assets but also  how the collision will effect the player. For example the bottom of basket is buggy when you go into it because of the curved bottom.  Plus you can actually go inside the basket underneath.  Corners can be easily slipped through, maybe make the collision curved? I'm not quite sure, do some experimenting and testing with collisions in future.

-Some of the dirt on top of the basket was hard to see.

To resolve this I'd reccomend more contrast between the two  textures/materials. Perhaps in future when doing something similar you could have some kind of bacterial scanner or just make the  dirt more clear in certain locations.

-Nothing happens when the timer runs out

I'm not sure if you knew about this or not but anyway, I think  something more should happen like "Do you want to retry?" Appearing or returning to the menus.

-This one may of been intended, but you don't collide with the bin

If this was so that you can easily go inside the bin and

For bonus features there could of been

-Special :) dirt that gives you more time

-Mean :( dirt that speeds up the timer

-Items that get stuck in the hoover that aren't dirt, that are in place of dirt, but don't effect your deposited percentage so that you stay aware of  what you're picking up. Those items make the ammount of dirt you can pick up lesser until you put them in the bin.

Other feedback:

For some reason I'm getting a Tom and Jerry vibe from this. Again, I like the simple mechanics. I'd say my enjoyment of this game is on par with browser games I used to play at highschool when we had nothing better to do. This is the first game from this jam I played. In doing so and writing this feedback I've realised  how I like to test games. It's fun.  Though I think I'll hold back on further testing as I wish not to fall off the map further. Enjoyed my time with this game though! If it was developed further and  some more addictive features were added, I'd definetly  want to play again.

Good luck with future projects!
