You can import your own character models. We use the RPM format (based on GLTF .glb files). Currently you cannot bring character animations, all animations are supplied by our app. We will expand this with more formats (like VRM) and more features (like custom animations) in the future.

Our scripting system is a graph of nodes, like Unreal Blueprints or Halo Forge.

Any updates?

Tip: If you're using Unity, avoid 2017.3, 2017.4, and 2018.x, they all have serious issues on Linux. If you are on 2017.2 or older you can stay there, otherwise you should upgrade to at least Unity 2019.1.

So, when will this new version be on Linux?

Do you have any plans to upgrade to Godot 3?

Will there be a Linux version? Looks like a Unity game, exporting is easy.

Also, please mark your files with the OS they're on so that Itch knows about it. Ex:

Sometimes the game runs in slow motion if I increase the resolution. I have a GTX 770.

The game looks cool, will it be on Linux?

What engine is the game made in? Unity had good Linux support, Unreal you have to do some work AFAIK.

Thanks, it works great in the Itch app now! (At least the Linux version does, I have not tested the Windows version myself)

Minor bug report: Reynard displays the animation for moving to the right when he is moving up-right, but the animation for moving up when he is moving up-left. I think the intention was for Reynard to display the running up animation when moving up-right.

You still need to mark the platforms in the file's settings:

Can you please add fullscreen support?

Also, consider just calling it "Reynard-linux" or something, without a version number in the file, so that the Itch app will automatically update me to the next version by selecting the file with the same name.

The Linux version doesn't run when installed via the Itch app https://itch.io/app because it's a `.rar` file https://github.com/itchio/itch/issues/2157. Consider using Butler to upload files https://itch.io/docs/butler/, or use `.tar.gz` or `.zip` files instead.

You can't, sorry. The controls are mapped to both the keyboard and gamepad inputs. However, if you want a custom control scheme, you could use Steam to re-map desktop inputs for controllers.

Will there be Mac and Linux versions?

Note: Dead Cells is only available as a Steam key.

Linux version?

Most are my friends and I, who happen to be all male. Nothing sexist about it, just the way my friends are.

You can ship both, but mark the Deb as for no platform and mark the portable archive as Linux, so that Itch knows what to download. You can still put "Linux" in the name of the Deb package.

Aw, I liked the name "Fruits of a Feather".

Instead of uploading installer files, can you please upload a portable Linux verison for use with the Itch app? Just upload a ZIP, the Itch app will handle extracting and launching. Also, please mark this portable version as "Linux" and unmark the installer files so that the Itch app knows what to download. Mac and Linux versions?

Hello, would it be possible to make the game support 16:9 aspect ratios so that it can run at 1080p? I can understand how it is nice to have everyone using the same aspect ratio to simplify the game and prevent unfair advantages. But I honestly would rather play at 1920x1440 with the top and bottom parts of the screen cropped out so that it's 1080p. I would end up seeing less of the game world, but in a nicer aspect ratio and full-screen, without any stretching of game textures.

If it's made with Unity, then you can't build the game for the Raspberry Pi yet, AFAIK.

Will you be releasing the game for Mac and Linux? Let me know if you need help installing Linux or testing your game on it!

Let me know if you need help building a new PC!

Will the final game have Mac and Linux versions?

If you would like, you can install Linux on an existing computer for testing using my install guide: https://rtechsupport.org/kb/linux-installation/

Will there be Mac and Linux versions? Since it's made in Unity it should be a simple build away.
