Thanks! I'll give it another go with the knowledge, really cool tape mechanic.

Thanks so much! We had a blast on the jam and making the cutscene was especially fun!

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Really enjoyed the mechanic but I had no idea how to dance ><

Thanks for the feedback! Really glad the linux build worked!

Thanks! Was our first game jam and we had an absolute blast.

Thanks so much! I'm sure the lack of sleep added to the performances ><

Thanks so much for the kind words, we were talking just today about how much we enjoyed yours too!

Bit hard to control but you definitely got a chuckle out of me with the wizard's opening dialogue :P

Really like this idea, super clever! I did struggle to often get the tape to work correctly, and often I would write something that was correct grammatically but the wizard 'cast' his doubts on that. Great concept though!

Looks like you ran out of time with such a large project, but what was there was cool.
I really like the story you have building at the start.

The jump has a really nice speed to it, I like how much it really launches the character.

We made a Prison themed game too, its so interesting seeing how everyone interprets the theme and object. Nice work!

Cute. You really feel like a cheeky monkey running back into the vents.

Great audio too.

Great game, played it all the way to the end because I was enjoying each level as they came!

Cute puzzles. Would be great if it felt like you were really sticking paper to the monitor rather than just in the level, just to make it feel a bit more like I'm totally cheating.

Nice idea!

Cool game! Really dig the art style.

Would love some arrow key support if you went further with it

Really well thought out puzzles, was a cool game.

Some of the icons took a bit of getting used to in order to work out what rule's I had applied to me, but great little game!

SPOILER WARNING

I think the way you worked in the theme as a sort of morality tale, where you look back and think 'I SHOULD'VE broken the rules' instead of going along with the game, was really clever.

I totally rate this game, it was entirely too much fun hitting the staple guns and hearing the crashes below.

Great work!

The feedback on the audio is awesome, feels great to play with headphones. The bullets have a really nice bass to them.

Main menu looked pretty but I couldn't get passed it! Mouse wasn't appearing and eventually got the same screen as the person posted earlier.

Looking forward to an update, art looked nice.

I really like how polished this is. Its contained but plays like a finished product of one of those old school arcade games.

I also really appreciate this as your 'How is this related to theme' answer, haha

"Not playing by 4:3 rules in a modern 16:9 world."

Thanks! Probably a lot of overinvesting in the cinematic but it was super funny to us so we couldn't stop...

Thanks so much! It was our first time entering the jam and we had so much fun.

Awesome little game, the theme totally checks out and the bots have cute little personalities.
