Aw, thank you so much for this sweet reply. The lover dying offscreen was actually intended, it forces the player to keep moving fast, but maybe it should have been explained better. And thanks for appreciating the soundtrack, i made it in one day XD. 

Thank you so much for playing, I believe I overtuned the movement indeed, it is just too fast for such a tiny screen. 

And also thanks for the feedback I will add transitions in the next update  so that this problem doesn't happen anymore.

I very much enjoyed this game, the graphics are beatiful, i liked this dark pallette , SFX are nice and theres a generous amount of enemy variety. The only thing that i would criticize is that the enemies spawn a little too often, but that's my taste i guess. Anyway, yall did a very good job at this game :p

Well i downloaded it but didn't manage to get off the start screen no matter what :/

Weird, i sent my godot game that i made for this jam to my friends and one of them had the same issue, but after turning windows defender off managed to run my game. My game is an .exe but i sent as a RAR file too.

Sounds about right, the majority of antivirus software just interpret any "unknown" exe file as a virus, I'm gonna test it and see for myself. -->  Edit: Its not a  virus

I will update the game after the jam so that it feels more "complete" :)
