Thank you ! The contrast and devitation from its initial release was quite unexpected (even for myself) , but I'm so glad to have where it is today : )

As you can see : the UI has been expanded on the right end of the matrix , this new section will be used for building your games / programs . Objects are bound to a node based programming system and can be tested in real-time . These 6 objects can be used for anything : shape generation , displaying text , displaying sprites , moving sprites around , setting timers , and much more .
I enjoy working with limitations , they promote logical creativity and outside of the box thinking and I have a good feeling most of you will be able to create some insanely complex pieces of art with this 6 object engine.
Each object placed and each matrix block painted will be completely independent to its own screen , there are a total of 10 screens (0-9) think of these like different levels of a game . you can have an intro , a title screen , the levels, and then finally a credit roll. Perhaps you can have 10 different panels to your ASCII-fied comic. The world is yours !
Excited to share this with you guys , much love - Lion
ASCII LION 1.8.0 / "R8" FEATURES:
(COMING SOON)
Game construction engine including a sprite editor , object logic assembly screen , and basic hex editor.
NTSC artifact simulation (with both jitter and texture parameters) (distorts color information on the matrix)
Major bug fixes.
Image import list (meaning ASCII LION does not require a file named "source.png" in its directory)
Parameter velocity / weight control (allowing you to fine tune variables at a comfortable pace with the cursor)
Better network implementation.
Bank inversion , giving you double the amount of characters to work with.
After a lengthy coding hiatus I am now returning to the development of ASCII LION , the next revision will feature a basic (modular) game engine , UI expansion , parameter recall (during startup) , continuous work on internet connectivity functions , among other things .
Screenshots and test videos will be released soon - Lion
The long awaited 7th revision is now available .
ASCII LION 7 , What's New? :
