Sorry! This is PC VR only. This game was made as a college capstone project and we didn't have enough Oculus Quest 2's to play in 4 player co-op, so we opted for PC VR.

We're glad that you took a look at our game!
There is a gameplay video in the comments below, and  a few more videos if you look at the YouTube channel itself.

Breach Protocol VR has been updated to version 1.03.
The following changes have been made...

  1. All grabbable objects are now indicated by a green dot when the player's hand is able to grab it.
  2. Holding the secondary activation button (X or A on Oculus or pressing in the touchpad on HTC) no longer continuously reloads weapons.
Users using the revolver found themselves frequently holding the button to pull back the revolver and proceeding to reload it by mistake,  this is no longer the case.
  3. The grenade holsters on each player now are able to hold all grenades rather than specific grenades. This is a temporary change as we plan on replacing grenades with a more consistent form of projectile utility.

For those who do not own a VR headset, here is a gameplay preview!

(Version 1.00 Gameplay)

Haha, this originally wasn't meant to be a horror game, but when implementing the camera mechanic I felt like I was missing a little something, so I made everything dark and added a basic AI.

Thanks for taking the time to play my game!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game!

Sorry that you felt a bit dizzy! I actually experimented with teleportation, but at the time I had already made all the levels and there were some "shortcuts" that teleportation would lead to. I would have had to either make platforms taller (which means a long fall and motion sickness) or come up with some other solution, but I got busy and didn't have the time to.

Thank you so much for taking the time to play my game!

I loved the style of this game! It was really relaxing to just walk around and make some potions. It was fun just to watch the fruits grow in the garden.

I noticed that when I had an object in my hand, the controls associated with that hand would no longer work.  For example, if I had a fruit in my left hand, then I could not move with locomotion, or if I had a fruit in my right hand, I could not snap turn. I could play the game just fine by teleporting, but I just thought I should let you know!

I had a few control hiccups while trying to solve the first puzzle, but aside from that, I had fun! Having Midas touch added a nice little twist to puzzles and I found myself resetting a lot because I let go of an object too early.

On a side note, there seem to be some collision issues as I was able to walk straight through the wall on the left side of the piano. Also, sometimes when I tried to put the papers on the floor, the paper would clip into my hand and get stuck to my hand. Aside from those small bugs, great game!

I liked how you left it to our imagination as to what the targets would be! The idea of the game was executed well and I had a lot of fun playing.

Great job! I loved the level design and puzzles that this game had. Having only one try at working with my past recording is a really unique concept.

A very nice and simple, yet addicting, game mechanic. I loved the other small mechanics surrounding the core idea of a card swipe. Having to search and shake objects around the desk was really funny!

Lots of null reference exceptions, but luckily the game didn't break!

The concept of the game is great, it took me a while to finally beat the game since I kept mistakably activating some cards in my hand (or resetting the level when I was about to finish it), but that is my fault alone haha. There was an animation bug here and there with the humans running in place when they were dead, but aside from that, the game was really fun!

Great game! I like the idea of one-time use platforms to get to the next part of the level, it made me sit back and think carefully about where I had to jump to next! A simple concept, but done very well. Great job!

Great game! You really threw me off by having random codes read out loud, so I had to keep repeating 4 to 8 numbers in my head to make sure to not forget any of the correct codes.

I noticed when using locomotion movement and holding an object in my hand that the controls would stop working for the hand holding the object. For example, if I held a ball in my right hand, I no longer could turn, or if in my left hand I could not walk. Very minor issue, since I could just teleport and turn physically, but just wanted to let you know!

Again, great job!

I had a fun time just searching around for ways to distract Bobert. My favorite method of distraction was climbing on the bars and ziplining across the ceiling! I also loved the art style. I will say that it took me a while to figure out the objective was to steal the cheese, but that is probably just me being clueless haha. For this being your first game, this is great!

For those about to play, I suggest you reset your standing position/orientation before playing. Not doing so may cause issues with teleporting through walls when activating the white polaroids taken from the camera.

And for those of you who may not handle scary games well, there is an X-ray mode on the camera that you can use to see ghosts through walls. The scariest part of a horror game is the unknown, so I hope the option to make their positions known calms down those who are a little worried.

If you encounter any issues let me know!

In order to take pictures, you have to pick up empty polaroids around the map, the polaroids can be red, white, blue,  or purple. Typically they are on a table or countertop. There is a limited number of polaroids around the map, so you have to be careful not to waste them. (And if you do run out of polaroids, there is a menu button on your left wrist.)

The camera has 5 different settings, flash (yellow), stun (red), teleport (white), reveal (purple), and barrier (blue). When you change modes, there should be a number in the colored square indicating how many polaroids you have in that setting. I hope that helps!

Also, what headset are you using? I only tested with the Quest 2.

EDIT: The camera has a 6th setting which is X-Ray.  This is for those who might get scared easily and want to know where the ghosts are at all times.
