It could only adhere to the theme more if there was only one round. The graphics and music could have been better, considering how simple the game was. However, while the basic mechanics seem to be executed rather well, this game quickly gets boring, as there is just too little to keep the player interested. Maybe there are people out there who would really like this kind of casual game, but I'm reluctant to rate it highly.

The character felt slow in moving around, but the controls were easy enough to get the hang of. On many occasions I was expected to throw my shard to places I couldn't see, but there were never enemies or anything unexpected if I threw the shard offscreen, either, so it felt forgiving for a platformer with only one life. However, it felt really good to play these levels, especially if you thought of them as early levels of a larger game (that obviously couldn't be made in such a short time). Also, good job delivering the atmosphere; the visuals and music worked well together.
