thank you sooo much!!!!

at first, i thought of you having to click the building, but then tryed this one (the 'opens when you enter the building' one) on...

and it felt so much better and natural.

i am so so glad you liked it as well :))))

oh no, only SAD EMOTION UNLOCKED? very sad times :(

hopefully that's not a mirror of how life's going :/

if so (or, honestly, even if life's going amazing for you), as the vine/meme/whatever says:

"you're doing great, sweety"... but without the 'sweety'... that kinda feels awkward to say, idk

any ways... let's pretend that awkward pharagrapf never happened (and that i know how to write 'paragraph'... oh wait, i wrote it right this time...)

thank you so much for giving feedback :)) and for giving a good positive and helpfull one :))

i hope your day's amazing :))

you know what? i gave 5 stars for everything in the rating!

growing up i would play gta on purpuse to be the taxi driver!

so this game?! perfection!

+infinate love for this game :)))

i cant imagine the AI work yall had to do for this tho

this team made a great job! really!!!!

UPDATE:

1) i think i beat the game cause (idk if that information is relevant but...) i had 25 love and there were no more passengers...

i think they didn't like my driving then :/

2) i clicked the "respawn" option in the menu (just to try it out,  before quiting the game...) twice

and it got stuck in a building... both times

wrote this update - in aneutral tone - just to let you know of these things. hope it was helpful :)

the five stars in everything in the rating are still all there :)))

i really had a blast with this game :)) missed my gta taxi driver days :))

oh, i knew it was buggy, but i did not know that ui would stay on-screen after you left that "dash room"...

maybe didn't playtested enoughtly... (i hope it didn't interfeered with the gameplay tho...)

yeah, maybe i should've made a simple animation for those buttons... thanks for poiting that out :)

i did think those "opp- didn't do that sorry" notices would be fun :)

don't worry, i bet you did an awesome job :)

i know :/ it ended up being  """"a bit""""" confusing :/

there was no toturial and i "forgot" to make a script for camera movement

but, at least, i made something and submited in time...

thank you for the feed back tho :)))))

everyone that reviews seems to be liking the art a lot :))) that makes me really happy :)

nice game jam, the vabes are really nice and welcoming. i loved it! :)) have a really nice day :)

ok, so... i have to say i couldn't get past the ssecond level... but i think the blame is mostly mine cause usually i suck at games.

1) art? perfect.

2) sound? perfect!

(not loud. not overly happy, if that makes sense.  just good :) )

3) controls? nicely designed :)

but, to be honest,  i would completly forget that one side existed when i was doing something on the other....

and then i'd look at that one side, there would be an entire army trying to kill me lmao

it would lag a bit after me dying...

idk if it was because of the browser... or my cpu or something...

or somehow because of the transition between dying and starting the level again...

(idk... just brainstorming some possible or not so possible reasons)

other than that, didn't find anything near to a bug... if there were any, no no they disguised as features :)

to be clear, i had a really good time :))

oh, and i said all of this with a neutral tone :)

you did a good job :)

thank you so much! :))

i loved making this art :) it looked pretty unique as i was doing and i thought it looked fairly pretty...

maybe that's why  so many people liked it as well  :)))

yeah, from the very first moment, my instinct was to go in a "robots trying to undestand emotions" way...

and that's what i tryed to do :)

it ended up kinda buggy and without some features that i wanted to implemement but it's done and playable :)

as a baby game dev, that's what i'm trying to tell myself everytime :)

i am totally going to check out your game tho... like right now :)

thank god it is a browser one... cause my laptop is almost overloadig with devlog footage... whoops

i hope have a nice day :))) whoever you are, you are valid :)

hee hee THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!  :))))

that makes me euphoric! :))which on was your favourite? :))

for me it is either the (ew-annoyed-repulsed) one or the (irritated-angry-mad) one..... OR ALL OF THEM aaaa :)

i know it was buggy (with the part of releasing it on the lab and stuff) but...

- did you caught up that you could go in thet other door to see your progress?

- was it hard to know that you were suppost to collect the smaller ones first?

- what about when it came to leaving the "dashboard pause time"?... did you find it easy to figure that out?

sorry all this questions :/ i just want ot understand how the game expirience felt for you :)

any of the ways, i'm so glad you had fun :) and thank you so so much for the nice feedback :))

i have to say, i got though i got stuck below the floor and at first it was hilarious

(UPDATE:  i realized a bit after that the helli wasn't displaying - when i enter the second map after i reached the first green circle)

at the time, i thought: (unintentional funny "bugs"/glitches are really important for a game! change my mind)

but then it wasn't just a cute lil bug... i'd click R and it would reset... i was actually stuck the helli was just not appearing :/

so i pressed Refresh on the browser page to give the game a try :)

(btw... i got scared and bothered everytime... with how loud that intro thing was :/ )

oh, i didn't know i was suppost to land on the mechs heads...

whoops, i guess i unintentionally ignored all of those in the first maps cause i was expecting some ui or indication in the how to play or something...

also, i tryed to see what would happen if i landed in the water... nothing happend btw...

but i did got stuck in the water: i enter it with some other mech, and tryed to left with the helli... but couldn't

(sorry, that was long, but i was writing it as i was playing so i wouldn't forget it)

(i said all of this neutrally, don't worry)

i had a great time :))) good job! :))

thank you so much for giving actual feed back! :))

yeah, the colliders were behaving a bit weird, i know :/ and it was a bit messy with the releasing part :/

maybe if i had made the camera move when the player'd move + an actual tutorial... it would be a bit less confusing, idk

but, note to self, let's not only focus on the negatives :)

thank you! really. thank you for rating and giving actually constructive feedback :))

The game is not my style, but does that mean it is bad? NO! not at all!

the visuals and music were amazing!

and the gameplay mechanics were really really well accomplished :) not buggy at all, at least from what i played :)

So, i submited a downloadable game. But its page in the game jam says "game is unavaliable" or something (and i haven't ever put out a downloadable one, only play on browser).

So, can i change the game page and upload a play on browser zip file (with the same content on it... or a build for webgl5 without touching anything in unity!!)?

(tbh i don't know if it is playable right now)

(this is not begging for reviews or rating, but can someone test that for me? i'd appreciate a bunch :)) i'm on my phone right now so i can't)

To anyone who responded or something, i appreciate you a lot :)))

UPDATE:

nevermind... the downloading option was disabled in the game page stuff... whoops

but i'll leave the topic here for anyone who needs it, so... maybe you can answer as if i still had a problem :))

stay well :))

i hope this review didn't sound mean, that wasn't my intention...

i didn't......... mean..... to sound that way... sorry, i already stoped

but seriously, i just said those things in a neutral tone. i thought that if i pointed out those things i could be helpful, you know :)

keep developing, the game was good :)

i had a blast!!!

you should do a version of this for mobile phone. it would have (even more) potential!

note: watch out for that transition in the music, when it loops

this was amazing! thank you!

keep going :)

i wish i had any idea on how to play this cause this looks like a future childhood game for a lot of people.

really, i wish i knew how to play it. this is amazing!

first of all, i like the direct description of the game.

very sad times: i was playing with my laptop without a mouse... so the experience kinda sucked to be honest, sorry

but i think it totally has the potential to be a great boredom-killer phone app!

most of the time i had no idea of what was going on, but that's cause i'm a little small brain.

i had the tendency to press the button to go forward (according to what was forward in the game perspective, if that makes sense), so i would have no space to see anything... again, dumb dumb brain

one thing that i didn't think was all about my brain: i didn't know you were able to jump so i would always die with those holes. plus... the jump was a bit insufficient...

sorry, i sounded mean or something, but is wear i said it all neutrally.

keep it up :)

the pixel art looked really really good

but the gameplay was a bit not so good, cause i had no idea what was going on and/or what was the goal, you know? yeah, ok, i had to avoid those explosion things... but maybe if you also made the collisions with the crazy man wandering around count, it would be more "oh no, i have to run away aaaaaaa help", you know?

(also, my finger automatically went to WASD... maybe you could've included those controls as well...)

note: i said this all in a neutral tone, don't worry, we learn as we go :) keep going :)

the music was very appropriate for the type of gameit was.

first of all, those animtions! love!

- i am used to jump after the end of the precepice... and the lion won't let me :(  very sad times  (it is probably the animations or something... it's not a bug, i just can't jump mid-air)

- also, it's kind of a 'bummer' that the game restarts everytime i die or that i get frozen...

i actually got to the end, let's go! :)

i liked it :)

got bored for a few seconds (when i say seconds, i mean like 2 or 3, don't worry), but then i started 'not losing every time i jumped' and 'getting closer to finding a way out'.

i can see potential :)

i was having a less good day and this, somehow, made me smile...

maybe it was because of how satisfying the gameplay looked (yeah, looked) and felt.

you did a great job at making this game in this genre of game (let's pretend this sentence made sence, but i hope you got what i tryed to say with it)

played it from start to finish :)

overall, it was really good, i think.

note:

- the text was kind of a less negative thing... in the way where the time was counting and i was struggling to read (the text was fine, ok? the "problem" was just that i had less time to complete the levels that had it cause i'm... dumb dumb, brain bad, small brain + slow af)

- also, i actually had to repeat that last level more than once... again, might have been the dumb dumb slow small brain bad of mine... but yeah, i was kinda confused, like "the cherries are harder to get" (or something, sorry, i forgot the exact sentence)... like, i don't see any cherries here (they were the starts, i know, but my brain wasn't seeing anything so it got confused)

-- ok, i said this notes in a neutral tone, ok? just trying to help. keep developing :) you're doing good :)

thanks :
