and the slashes do absolutely no damage - whatever statements they hit, do not break

Probably dev crew misplaced slash animation and actual slashes - I'm just pressed right (or D) and all statements breaks even when slashes don't touch them

No, on PC (just with old screen), but yeah, size switch probably will help.

That bug would be fixed in future (or already fixed in 1.8)? Because really frustrating when I lose only because I can't do anything to enemy beyond screen

You can just farm them in camp quest, though it's take some time
