Wow, thanks a lot for the detailed report! I don't know when I'll be able to work on the game again or if I will at some point (it's been more than 2 years since I last updated it), but if I do, I'll make sure to check this scenario and fix it.
Thanks again for playing it and mentioning the bug 🙇

You're totally right about the graphics settings, it was a big mistake on my side and I will make sure to add those in my future games. I really appreciate your feedback. As for Bizarre Souls, I can't work on it right now and I'm not sure if I'm going to do it anytime soon since I wrapped the development like 1 year ago and don't have as much free time right now as I had back then, but I may come back to it at some point, can't promise anything, though.
I'm afraid the game would be very different :( . I designed it to be played with a gamepad controller on a PC (and then added keyboard & mouse support). Porting it to android means that I'd need to do a lot of optimisations to make it run smoothly and re-design the controls (and probably the mechanics) so that playing it on a phone screen feels good.
Just played the game again after the update. I like the new controls better, however they are still uncomfortable for me. I'm using a Xbox series controller and punching and shielding with RB & LB instead of RT & LT makes my hands hurt after 1 combat. I know this could be easily fixed with rebind-able controls, but I still think that RT & LT should be the default bindings.
The shield icon is perfect, great job.
I still find the AIs unfair because I cannot predict their attacks at all. The "preparation phase" of their animations that tells you where and what attack they are going to do it's very short (I've tried only beginner this time). However, thanks to the new controls I've been very close to beating intermediate (about 5% health second and third try), while I couldn't even lower its health to 40% when I tried last time with old controls.
Keep it up, overall this is very good, I love it an I'm looking forward to seeing more.
