Ha, my partner also found this and asked, "what the hell is this?"

Done!

Thank you so much for your comment. It's put a smile on my face.

Nice tip as well for keeping things fresh!

I hope the game continues to serve you well. If you do make something, I'd love to see it.

Awesome idea!

Hey! I love that idea. Unfortunately I'm having a hard time finding the packaging file atm. If I find it, I'll upload it and let you know.

Amazing, I love your symbols and the story that your playthrough tells through very minimal beats. Thank you for sharing!

This sounds cool, thanks for sharing. I particularly like your idea about the world facts as FKR-ish rules!

Glad you like it, thanks for the comment!

I've just made some more available.

Hey. I'd recommend something like "inspired by EXCURSE by Alfred Valley". Happy this little thing's been of use. Cheers!

Other people may be better placed to give their opinion but I believe the structure of the module lends itself to repeat plays.

The premise revolves around responding to the logs of a previous NPC and through play you are encouraged to make your own logs. The next time, when you take a new character through the module, they'll be responding to the logs of your previous character.

This is lovely to hear, thank you!

Yep, that sounds good. Drop a link here!

Page 13, the suggested responses to Ari's "Hello World" function. There's an odd one out...

Sure! Drop me a message if you haven’t already.

This is a good question without a definite answer. You can read it any time but if it’s something your character finds when they get to Section 4 that would be pretty cool. It introduces a new location that leads from there.

Wow, you’ve stumbled on a page which will become relevant when something is launched later this month!

Thank you! Using those 3 things to run something sounds really interesting. They could certainly take you somewhere. Or you could skip the self-created oracle from Hill Marks and use the one from Lay On Hands. It’s nice being able to mix and match.

Ha, you know it’s too obtuse when it baffles ‘Esoteric Knowledge’! That’s the issue with such minimalist restrictions.

This requires 3 different coins - they need to be uniquely identified, so different value coins for instance. The symbols at the top of the table just refer to these 3 different coins with unique, generic icons. One of your coins would correspond to the first icon, another to the second, and so on.

First step: flip all 3 coins. Find the corresponding shapes in the table and combine them however you see fit to make a room.

Second step: flip all 3 coins. Find the corresponding words in the table and use those to determine what’s in the room.

The process is repeated for each passage, which it defines as an offshoot of 2 or more cells.

I hope that makes a bit more sense!

I think just the player’s guide should be fine!

This is really cool - I'm impressed! Thank you for sharing with me. Have you tested it out in bed? Ha

Thank you for your comment and the kind words!

The app sounds great; making using of the haptic feedback is an inspired idea. I’m not too familiar with the capabilities of the Apple Watch, can you do something like: double tap to add a point to a counter (i.e. harm) and triple tap to get the current value of the counter (via pulses)?

That Marsaglia article sent me down a fascinating rabbit hole.

Thanks for getting in touch. I can send you a download key when you place an order. It’s useful having both!

I can give you a download key! Send me a message via my contact form.

Nice! Are you using this like, “No but - I take damage but I see an opportunity,” “Yes but - I inflict damage but suffer a setback”?

Awesome! Hope it does the trick.

Amazing. Time to dust off those skills and make some diegetic audio for a group of players!

Nice, thanks for sharing! Have you been using this over an extended period of time?

I’m gonna need a whole bestiary now. 10/10

I've never heard of the Toynbee tiles but they look fascinating. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks! I don't think you'll be familiar with John Grey unless you were in insurance in Pennsylvania in the 60s ha. That's all I've got to go on for the real John Grey.

As long time numbers station obsessive, I love this! Really tidy, concise design.

If you ever decide to expand on it, I’d love more prompts (say, on the flip side of the sheet). It would be cool if you could explicitly choose which result in each roll you use for x and y axis. Gives it that feeling of interpreting what you’re hearing. It also means the player can consciously aim for certain shapes and their corresponding story beats.

Anyway, I enjoyed this and it’s sparked some ideas for me. Thank you!

Thank you for your kind words and for sharing these modules! They're wonderful; great starting points for dreamy adventures, written with style.

I like the idea of a jam. Maybe one day!

They're basically the same, just different size and layout for printing. The full version is the original. No plans to add community copies at the moment. If you drop me a message I can send you a download key: https://www.hausofvalley.com/contact

I've added some new ones! It's hard to keep track of them these days.

I’d love to know the answer to this too! Thanks for checking out the game.

Thanks a lot for sharing your playthrough, I always love reading these. Formatting it in a spreadsheet is a nice idea, it works really well. Thanks also for the kind words!

Yep great fun, ha! Send me a message via https://www.hausofvalley.com/contact and I can help you out.

Wow, that's bizarre. Thank you for pointing it out. From doing a bit of reading it seems that Chrome (which I think you're using) is "not compliant with the PDF standards for displaying PDFs". I'm able to replicate the same problem when I try to view it using Chrome and so far I haven't been able to export the PDF in a way to get it to work as expected.

For the time being do you have a different application you can use to view the PDF?
