The in game asset download seems glitched it downloads enough to be functional but it missed some specific assets so it used the genaric ones instead.

for me it was the 4 starting locations and 2 items were what I found missing before I used the manual download

I agree with it needing a bot even a random bot would be fine, since there are so few players the game is basically unplayable with out it because you just have to get lucky and hope another person is on at the same time as you.

The 'upgrade' and 'wake up' screens are no longer centered they are still usable but some of the text gets cut off on the right hand side

When opening bag it is positioned to high blocking the other menu options meaning you cant close it once it is opened.
