I was unable to tune in on July 10th. Are the other awards posted somewhere, so we can congratulate the winners? :)

Just kidding. I found the link for the twitch video! https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1868241190

Thank you so much for your feedback and kind words!

Thank you! I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you so much for all of your kind words! This was my first game and my first game jam. I couldn't be more proud and your feedback is much appreciated!!

This game is neato. The idea of a monochrome game is fresh and I enjoyed playing it. Throwing the objects took me a minute to get the hang off, but I thoroughly enjoyed splatter those pesky hoomans. Well done.

I love the idea of a text-based video games, but spelling is super important in that case. This was a super fun play. Thanks for submitting.

I love the idea of this game. It was super easy to get the hang of the controls. It reminded me of QBert. It would be neat if the buildings increased or the size of the play area increased overtime. It would be cool if the slime made a "gloop" noise or something when it moved. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Great job!

PS. the slime is super CUTE! :)

I loved the story at the beginning, very fun. I was ready to play for sure! I didn't hear any audio, not sure if that was just my computer being weird.

I loved saving squishy and I freaked out a bit when the guard shined his light on me, but I was expecting a game over or him to shoot at me or something and did not, was this intended? The vents were a very cool idea!

Great work!

I played for 3 game days. The music is easy on the ears and the monster is neat! I don't understand the point of gameplay or the goal though. I was hoping I could eat too much and explode or something, haha! It would also be cool if there were some obstacles or something you had to navigate around.
Overall great work!

I downloaded your game but it didn't seem like there was a menu or any instructions. I wasn't sure where to start.

I totally missed this and I am super bummed. Going to play and review some now. So excited to be apart of this!

thank you!

thank you!

thanks for the feedback. I planned to use the candy gathered to allow players to shop for accessories for Smoglu at a store of sorts. I ran out of time.

Welp. I did it. There were moments when I didn't think I'd be able to power through, but I did! This was my first Game Jam and my first game to complete all from scratch. All others were from tutorial videos and such. I learned so much and I hope my Dev Log will help some others too. I can't wait to see all of the submissions. Don't give up. Keep going!!
