What a great game to make in a week. It's pretty scary, I wouldn't consider it a jump scare but when some graves appered I was shook! I loved the procedural generation even though it was really hard to find the next-level room and the entrance (I did a horrible death, at least I got the key!)
Excellent work everyone
Thanks for playing and for the valuable feedback!
You actually gain a gold piece every time you clear a line (it may be too much!), and they keep on coming as long as you have a lot of holes to fill actually. They stop once your chaos level is low enough or you filled most of your holes to save them up.
I am aware of a couple of bugs and some counter intuitive behaviors, but I love Tetris and I wanted to add onto it as an inspiration. What could I mess up with Tetris, right? Nothing can go wrong... :)
There are actually more chaos pieces (X/C/M/W). :)
And the singles are only appearing when there are holes, broken pieces and certain amount of pieces and threshold of lines.
I learned a lot from making this game. Thanks again for playing!

I tried too many directions at once, and I learned my lesson :)
The game is rather easy when you avoid holes, and gets really hard really quickly when you mess up even once.
The X/C/W/M and other shapes only appear when there is chaos involved. They are supposed to introduce difficulty (but there might need some adjustment for their frequency)
I hope you had fun playing!
Thank you for your lovely comment! I tried making it feel as good as I could, the game actually feels less cinematic because the wind effects aren't working in the browser. It feels better when played locally :) maybe a future fix will make it better
The enemies do react when they see footsteps and they follow them till they find you. I was very glad with how they turned out!
This is a cute and nice little game. It's a little hard at first to understand the controls (I didn't understand I'll be back from the top once I fell). I was able to get quite a lot of carrots by standing still so I would avoid generating a carrot right next to the player if they are on the platform. Also the game didn't stop at 30 carrots for me, I guess it is a bug?
Anyway cute and very fun!

First time I'm actually completing a game where 100% of the artwork is my pixel art. It was a great experience. Due to people requesting it, I'll make most of the artwork and sprites available for download on my game page for anyone to use in their game (w/ credit)
