This is a demo! The game is still a work in progress.

The second world is almost done though

Hope you enjoyed! The game has kind of changed significantly since this demo was posted here though.

Party Project is awesome!

thank you

Was not expecting this kind of gameplay but its very cool and unique. Visuals are perfect!

I would have liked more involvement from the player though since all enemies die so easily and you can shoot infinitely with no penalty. Good luck with where you take this, it seems very cool!

Pretty charming character art and dialogue. I like the simplicity of the whole thing.

I got confused in that void with the eye and the cage though. I got lost and my walking speed made it a bit tedious to get around. That section looked awesome though and reminded me of Yume Nikki.

Thanks! I agree it might feel repetitive sometimes. I wanted to capture the progression and feeling of analog series I enjoy myself which usually start normal and then become more unsettling as they go, but in game form, it requires more testing which I had no time to do.

Thanks. I was inspired by a couple analog horror series I like for the main premise of it, so I can imagine it being somewhat easy to predict if you had seen those same ones lol.

The VHS filter toggle was mainly added for those who have CRT monitors and want to have a more "authentic" experience I suppose but I'm glad it helped you have a better experience.

The sound design and implementation is admittedly very rushed because I had very little time left. Sorry to hear if it harmed the experience.

Thanks a lotl. Glad to hear it was effective

the style and presentation is pretty cool and interesting. The creatures and their background is unnerving for sure too. Gameplay could use improvements. Mainly the targeting since it would be a bit clunky or slow to select the limb you wan to attack. Also being able to skip the intro/tutorial would be a good feature

Thank you! Yeah the last part has the zoom and vertical movement disabled on purpose

Thanks for trying out the demo! I have decided to start reworking many aspects of the game such as level length and difficulty. People have also suggested the ability to speed up or slow down manually along with checkpoints if necessary. I hope to arrive at a better experience with these changes and others. It will just take some time.

Thanks again for the feedback and for playing!

and Pepo loves you

Thanks a bunch! :D
