That's lovely and very well executed (eggzeguted, yeah)! I'm so very much NOT fond of platformers that normally I'd pass by without even peeking into, however all the hype around THE EGG made me curious, and I don't regret a single second spent on this game. Love the implementation of coyote time and all those helpful little tricks, and the "try it and you'll see" tutorials that make you explore the possibilities (special thanks for the double jump and the whole section encouraging players to discover the mechanic on their own!). There is also a great replayability potential, as I feel some rhytm-game vibes in the sequences of eggs that seem to be possible to collect in one move without stopping - a perfect example of easy to learn/hard to master. Hats off, this is an eggsterpiece!
Great job! A cool idea for a jam and a very pro implementation, wasn't hindered by bugs neither wondered clueless what to do :) I liked the game very much, the 20th stage was a bit unexpected tho :D
The game, the idea, the story, the music - so cool, I hope you continue working on this project! I'd suggest adding controls description to the game page for the prototype period, cuz I was a bit lost when it came to a combat. Nice job you did there!
I was dying to play the game after having read the description (whoever reads them? certainly not me, but you kept me intrigued till the last sentence), unfortunately it doesn't run past the 1st frame, with an empty dialogue box, that's pity :< Hope you fix this soon, cause I really wanna check on it, love the art style too!
