Thanks!
Yeah, you're right, it lacks damage feedback..
Anyway, glad you liked my game!
Thanks for the useful feedback!
Yeah, I should have made in-game instructions / tutorial...
For the restart when the player dies... initially I was going to make a puzzle platformer, so I implemented the restart button, but then I changed my mind and choose to make a boss fights game. Having the ability to restart whenever I wanted was very usefull for testing, so i leaved it and I didn't think about an auto restart.. oops!
Glad you liked the bullet patterns!
Rated your game, very fun! Here's mine: https://itch.io/jam/mini-jam-111-colors/rate/1634791
Nice game!
The concept is very interesting and the dialogs were very charismatic!
I struggled with the aiming, maybe just a little dot on the screen would have helped me a lot. The colors of the player and the enemies confused me sometimes: in some levels the colors on the floor and the ones I had didn't correspond exactly. The player healthbar seemed a bit too gray sometimes to distinguish precisely what color it was.
Besides that, the game is very impressive considering it was made during a game jam, with all the 3D models it had!
Great and polished game! I came up with an idea for new levels: you could also make some white obstacles, so when you jump you see the black ones but not the white ones anymore (so you cannot see all the obstacles in the level at the same time). In this way you have to be more carefull moving in the level!
