for some reason, whenever I put a conveyor belt in my crafting slot, it also places one on the ground behind it.

love the look of the game, and the battle system has potential, but I couldn't get past the gigamyte because it seems like the hitbox for their attack is misaligned from where the window is, so I would get the marker inside the box but still get hit. that, and my fully upgraded regen ability wouldn't heal enough and I'd lose more health than I could get back.
otherwise, cute!
I used aseprite to make them! it's a 15 dollar pixel animation program on steam.
unfortunately, I haven't gotten any (confirmed) commissions for dr bobs characters, but if you're interested, you can find me on twitter; https://twitter.com/PoppedCherryJam
I also do pixel animations and digital art
glad to know that I'm not the only one making custom sprites
I actually added my own character to the roster a while ago (need to update her design, but I still like what I have so far).

I'm working on my own rpgmmv project, so I might have an idea. maybe if you can change the size of the displayed portrait when, say, viewing the stat screen (or whenever you wanna see the full body), you could just have the portrait displayed there, just taking up more space. though, I'm not sure how to make it change dynamically without taking up loads of space with 5000 different actors just for the main character.
one thing I'd really love to see is a full-body view of your character somewhere on the status screen. probably would take a bit of work, but it'd be really cool to see a character's belly get bigger as their capacity increases, or, say, something pumps up one of their assets, you could see it on the status screen.
