Same, it felt like it wasn't synced right, cause it started changing scenes a lot late

Now that I'm reading that again, now I see that Rel was mentioned. I guess I never really connected the dots or realized it was that Rel. I wasn't really talking about one of your theories, just that it suprised me that Rel was mentioned out of the blue from my perspective

Either I'm just imperceptive as hell or this is a weird thing to say, but was Rel ever mentioned in some capacity to be related to the countdown or be a plot to free Samuel before Alessia had the milkshakes with Bitey and Bernardo? Honestly I didn't even think he was a part of any of this so far, and when one of the theories of the burned man was that Rel was going to help with freeing Samuel it kinda threw me off a bit.

There's a bug in chapter 1, it says that there is an invalid syntax on line 8554, I can click ignore and it goes to the next line, but just felt like letting you know,

(this is a bit after bernardo talks to his boss and we went to the infirmary, and Alessia goes to sleep, and the unformed spine-looking-thing starts talking to her)

I cant post a picture of it because itch decides that its "not within the 1 and 20480 character limit"

Just started the game and went with Ken's route, I can't even think of what's going on, this is all just so confusing.

(Any help with anything yall have figured out? Seems like a bunch of chaos and secrets that don't get explained :/ so much random stuff just seems to happen all the time)

All I'm getting from you is you feel very entitled and rude. I don't get people like you, who feel the insatiable need to give a negative review if you don't li

oh your just a troll lmfao nevermind

how could I be so stupid :/

seems like you hate a lot more than you like tho :p

if you want a high quality story that meets your expectations, just make it yourself lmao. If you can't even do that simple task you don't get to criticize others

at the end of the day, its still your opinion and I respect that, but making basically hate comments nitpicking what you don't like doesn't help the author really.

Seems a bit harsh for a story that's barely been started, and we can't really figure out what its intentions are yet.

also about the whole "who cares about everybody who died at all" I'd think they would explore how the characters feel more about that later, but I don't really know, you may be right.

I don't really mean to be rude about this and all but why do you feel so strongly that this game should be pushed down and not be seen? There's a lot of people that enjoy silly things like what your describing, and itch shouldn't be full of vn's that only you deem as "appropriate" or "well written." There are many worse ones, it's all just a matter of which ones are the better ones.

(You seem like an expert in this field, do you have experience writing vn's or stories? You give incredibly detailed reviews.)

also super small typo near the beginning, wich instead of which

"On the counter lay several bars of barillash soap, some of wich were more or less used up"

I just started this vn and can't figure out whether the backgrounds are filtered real images or not, since they are super detailed and must've taken tons of time to make if drawn.

(this is just me saying the art styles and everything look amazing)

I wonder whether the message is slowly having an effect on the protags mind.

I don't trust bytes firewall.

Ah, the eat yourself in binary. I suppose there isn't a way to decode the message right now, and will probably be decoded later in the story

They aren't AI, I think they are images run through a filter of some sort to make it look "painted" almost.

I feel like that might be intentional, to try and get the reader to feel how fast of a change or how unpleasant it really is for the protagonist with this information.

It could also be possible that the demons are a alien species, or at least crafted with alien materials. Since the mere THOUGHT or sight of them could drive people insane, much less what they could do to you if they catch you.

Also don't forget that demons ONLY target sapient species like the beastmen and humans, not wild animals. Could that mean the demons were specifically engineered to target humans and bipedal species? Or are they just smart enough to target any species that could pose a threat to them?

(another less likely theory is that the demons are just thinking of this as a game, like playing with their food, and don't leave the blackzones for the sole reason of giving their pray a fighting chance for survival, since they have emotions or at least intelligence, and can kill beings very easily.)

Its definitly possible that the translation software was installed with byte, but never explained how it automatically translated the language. We don't know what happened exactly or when the protagonist was put into preservation due to the memory loss, but it could definitly be a hint that either byte is hiding something from us OR beastmen had appeared around the same time that the cascade happened, which could be useful to know, instead of them appearing randomly years later.

(I'm also ruling out that the translation system was learning the language as they talked since loken talked very little and yet we understood him as soon as he started talking)

Before I go and try to decipher the algorithm, does anyone know whether its a real message or just a bunch of symbols mashed together? It could possibly be that the message isn't whole since byte said that there was only half the algorithm

Ive just started, but this vn looks amazing. I really like the art style and the story.

I'm pretty sure that isn't the problem lmao @_@

I knew that, just asking if progress was slowed since their writer was super busy. They had mentioned releasing the first update as a one year anniversary thing or just soon in general, so I was just curious.

I check every day to see if the project has been updated yet, the story just seems that good. Is progress slowed since you don't have a writer, or that your writer is just super busy?

Don't worry, the story is being worked on and the first update will release soon-ish

it might be, but even if it is there will be regular updates after that so we wont have to suffer for a couple years per update like we did now

tf u think it means

alright, thanks!

any progress made?

Don't worry, its unlikely that a creator like this with a huge playerbase would put a random trojan into this game. And might as well enjoy the game cuz if there is a virus, it would've already activated.

I can't really think of a reasonable explanation for this but its most likely safe because the VN "echo" had the same warning but was trustworthy because it was made from the same people that made Adastra. And some engines just use commands and stuff to run the game or to extract the data from saves and stuff.

Short Answer: Most likely your fine because of the magnitude of players that have downloaded this and none have reported similar issues, and if your still suspicious you can do a deep virus scan from antivirus companies (would recommend Bitdefender - the free version - but you can use any).

other than this stuff the script is really well written

two tops don't make a bottom

The story and art is amazing, although I've seen a lot of, I guess, not contracted wording? I don't really know how to explain it but I see a lot of "I am" instead of "I'm" and other stuff like that in places where the latter would maybe make the script more fluid, like "I am glad I happened to be nearby" instead of "I'm glad I happened to be nearby"

I hope this doesn't come off as just criticizing, but as constructive criticism instead

(most sentences work well without contracted wording, but in the rest It'd work better with them)

pretty sure that just means you haven't gotten far enough in the story for a path to be "chosen" to say

They are going make a new update, while *probably* releasing it within a 6 month range. They *probably* haven't released a specific date to not get our hopes up just in case something goes wrong and they have to postpone it further.

I'm like 90% sure they are completing the script for the entire or most of the game first, then working on adding the rest of the stuff for each chapter so it has a more reliable update schedule

maybe an update in march or april?

its possible to not lose your virginity to a slime, i did it my first try by just constantly attacking and healing

its not over yet lmao

where are the first division mines again for the 4th quest?
