Really love the level of detail, the little customizability with the player character and the leaderboard. I had a pretty large bug with the cursor jumping around the screen, but I loved the upgrades and enjoyed the game a lot.

The game feel in this was really standout. Love the strong, very responsive feedback when you hit objects or the enemy and get hit, really made the game come to life. I think just a small increase in complexity would do wonders for this game, but it's definitely enjoyable as is.

Very solid work, especially for some new game devs. I ran into a few bugs (a room full of item pickups with no way to carry them, seemingly infinite ammo). I really enjoyed the sounds you used, and you did a fantastic job with your fog of war effect. As others have mentioned, some form of progression would really help push this game over the edge.

I enjoyed the game, and was especially interested by the dice mechanic - kind of wish you used it more throughout the game! It also wasn't totally clear where the bosses were, or maybe I just never ran into one as I was wandering.

Simple, but fun. This could definitely be really improved with some kind of upgrade system, as other people have mentioned, but I think it's a good start. I'd also look into finding some ways to make the camera feel smoother, as right now it's a bit too responsive to player movement.

Definitely an enjoyable game! Only thing I might have liked to see more is an expansion on that ending segment - maybe something more to collect, or a ramp up in difficulty as time goes on? Right now it slows down a good amount after reaching that point.

Here's ours, called Witherwood! It was definitely a time crunch, but we had a ton of fun https://itch.io/jam/gamedevtv-jam-2024/rate/2748093

The camera was a bit challenging to get used to, but overall this game was really fun.

A simple platformer and a solid submission, if a bit hard to control. Definitely shows promise!

Fun, wacky game. I loved the aesthetics, and the concept. Unfortunately, the game was really hard to control and the music was a bit jittery, but with some bug fixing this could be really great!

Hi, narrative designer from Witherwood here! I love a good branching narrative, and like others have said, your story really carries your game here. I would love to see some more of this kind of visual novel work from you, with or without the other kind of gameplay attached!

I enjoyed it! Nice job

I wasn't able to get it working! It might help to list the game's controls on this page somewhere

Thoroughly enjoyable! Simple, but does exactly what it sets out to do and does it well.

This game is pretty awesome! Great job.

This game made me seriously reconsider a whole lot of what I thought I knew about ttrpg design. Fantastic work!

Spotted this game as part of indiepocalypse, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Thank you for making it.
