I just launched the game on my trashcan (PC) running only Aseprite and the smoothness of the game has my respect. Not a single bug. Programmers - you are great fellows. A simple game mechanics but addictive! The music is quite cartoonish and melodic - really like!

  Yes, this is a big omission.  I myself in games really like gaining experience and pumping and collecting.  a lot went under the knife to get out on time.  thanks for the feedback!
