The seed number typed into the box determines the map layout. Usually, the map will have a random layout. If the same seed number is used when creating different characters, the map layouts will be the same.

Seed isn't really a cheat, but can be used to get the same map across different playthroughs.

The new 0.3.44.0 version made it so all CGs are unlocked with a character. Now all the gallery scenes for a character are accessible once you've met them. Under tweaks and bug fixes: CGs are now unlocked with the character
