Thank you!

We did try experimenting with hue shifts but honestly, it didn't really work out too well and destroyed the feeling we were going for. We did make more coloured tiles so maybe once the Jam is over ill look into getting those in. A lot of the movement and particles were not ours and come with the character controller. I just didn't have time to change them out from.

Thank you so much for trying out our game!

So sorry!

Our level designer IMO was a bit evil and I had to edit some of his levels or the game would have just straight up been impossible.

Thanks for giving it a go! - Jahleel A.

Honestly, I didn't even know that combo was there. Also, we can't take any credit for the controller or the SFX. We used Tarodev's amazing character controller which came with those SFX. Forgot to change them out...

Thank you for giving it a go!

Thank you! I stole "borrowed" the idea from Spelunky which uses a similar generation tactic.

The art, animations and music all work really well together! Although I felt a bit lost playing it as there isn't really a clear guide on how to play it. Overall great game! - Jahleel A.

MASSIVE RESPECT for doing this in C++ and SDL2. As the developer of my team, I envy your skills. I Love how you incorporated the theme as well. If it's ok with you could I have a look at your source code? I would love to see the algorithm behind how the clouds were generated. My only complaint would be the character left a little small and my small brain didn't notice her (I'm assuming it's a she) until like 5 mins into trying to figure it out. Amazing 9/10 game

I am in utter awe to the art of this game and how you pulled this off within the timeframe, kudos and there isnt really anything negative i can say

I absolutely love the art for this game and controls are really snappy. Please look into Jump buffering and Coyote time for platformers. It could really add to the overall amazing control in the game. (unless I'm dumb and its already there). Impressive work! Love it.

i am in love with this art style, the interesting movement really sells the dream concept. the colour scheme perfectly compliments the gameplay - the only problem i had is the bouncing didnt seem to have any sense to it - i couldnt control it but that might just have been me! lovely game and amazing concept

The style of this game is defiantly unique and the mechanics worked really well with this game. The size the game rendered at at default was a bit small and it did cause me a bit of grief seeing the details in this pixel art style however I'm like 99% sure that's just a me issue. I Love It! Seriously impressive doing all this in 72 hours.

I love the art style and the music, the use of ambient snow really brings everything together. The sound effect for jumping does seem a little grating and does get annoying after a while - other than that a nice and enjoyable game.

The art and music fits this game so well. Your controls feel snappy, although maybe higher velocity on the player when they fall would make it feel more snappy, but at the same time it fits really well and provides lots of chances for the player to recover. Only thing I would say is the dash is very jarring and I often find myself disorientated when I first started using it. A Gradual animation would help a lot. Apart from that Amazing Game! I Love it! - Jahleel A

The Soundtrack really adds alot and the concept could be really fun with more refinement! Maybe adding some animations to the dog and fixing the aspect ratio would help the game reach higher highs - Zayaan A

The art is also super fitting. Maybe some work on the controls would help it feel more polished as right now it feels floaty. Some sort of indicator when the rockets would come and more in general would in my opinion definetly add a lot to the games feel. I really love this game! - Jahleel A.

Thank you so much! A lot of people made the same mistake you do to be fair. Probably should have made it more obvious ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

We did initially have a lot more ideas to incorporate the limitation however time and code were not on my side this Jam.

Thank you so much for giving it a go! - Jahleel A.

Yea I completely forgot about the particles because I was so stressed working out how to make things feel more random. Left a lot of bugs because of that. Next time we will defiantly be keeping track of known issues using something like Trello.

Thanks for your feedback! - Jahleel A.

Thank you so much! The art definitely took a surprising amount of time. Unfortunately, the sound effects are one of the things we can't take credit for. It came with Tarodev's amazing player controller.

A reply button was defiantly a huge oversight on my behalf.

Thanks for playing!  - Jahleel A.
