Use of the limitation
We originally had a bunch of ideas to incorperate the theme but the onyl one that made it in because of time, was that the level is never the same. The tiles you get after the beginning section are randomly selected from about 8 different premade remplates and stitched togther to make one vertical level

Personally, 3 packs. Idk about the others

A nice-time killer game! The art style is also really nice! Other than the occasional random head hitting its a good game!
the controls and movement feel really good besides occasionally hitting your head on something in a weird way. really fun, kind of reminds me of celeste but faster and more random levels (obv cause of the limitation)
I can't even get past the first head bonk lol.
So sorry!
Our level designer IMO was a bit evil and I had to edit some of his levels or the game would have just straight up been impossible.
Thanks for giving it a go! - Jahleel A.
Programmer Difficulty LMAO I definitely know how you feel. I liked the pixel art and game was super fun! It made me feel like I was playing something like Jump King
Great game overall. Hard but still enjoyable
after a while environment felt boring. On the art side, a simple hue shift could go a long way to make it look more pleasing, and the dash fx didn't feel quite right maybe make that white as well or the background color to make it suit more.
Good Job!
Thank you!
We did try experimenting with hue shifts but honestly, it didn't really work out too well and destroyed the feeling we were going for. We did make more coloured tiles so maybe once the Jam is over ill look into getting those in. A lot of the movement and particles were not ours and come with the character controller. I just didn't have time to change them out from.
Thank you so much for trying out our game!

Really cute art style and fun mechanics! I love the trail on the character! Good job!
I like the level generation idea. Its really cool
Thank you! I
stole"borrowed" the idea from Spelunky which uses a similar generation tactic.- Jahleel A.
The combination of the jump -dash-jump to get to hard to reach places was hard to master, but it makes for interesting movement opportunities!
A+ sound design... very squishy.
^v^ McStebb
Honestly, I didn't even know that combo was there. Also, we can't take any credit for the controller or the SFX. We used Tarodev's amazing character controller which came with those SFX. Forgot to change them out...
Thank you for giving it a go!

Awesome game with satisfying sound effects. The art style is cute too. Maybe a replay button would make it easier to start another run.
Thank you so much! The art definitely took a surprising amount of time. Unfortunately, the sound effects are one of the things we can't take credit for. It came with Tarodev's amazing player controller.
A reply button was defiantly a huge oversight on my behalf.
Thanks for playing! - Jahleel A.
A nice short and easy game that's enjoyable to play.
The art is really nice. I just wished that the trail would be square particles to match the general style, but otherwise nice entry!
Yea I completely forgot about the particles because I was so stressed working out how to make things feel more random. Left a lot of bugs because of that. Next time we will defiantly be keeping track of known issues using something like Trello.
Thanks for your feedback! - Jahleel A.
Fun game!
Nice short and simple, but still fun, game.
Didn't realise that I could dash until I had completed the game :)
You could have incorporated the limitation a bit more visibly but overall enjoyable.
Thank you so much! A lot of people made the same mistake you do to be fair. Probably should have made it more obvious ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
We did initially have a lot more ideas to incorporate the limitation however time and code were not on my side this Jam.
Thank you so much for giving it a go! - Jahleel A.
