I recently reached a huge development milestone in my project and I am so incredibly excited to share it!
Pareidolia: Going Home is a puzzle platformer where you are being hunted. You take on the role of an excavation robot lost in the long forgotten caves deep in the earth. Being separated from your team after falling through a cave schism, you must venture into the darkness alone with nothing but your battery powered work light to illuminate the way. There is a powerup to obtain, rapport to build with a sassy supercomputer, a horror that relentlessly hunts you when your battery runs low, and secrets to find hidden in the sprawling caverns.
This project has been a huge undertaking and it still has a long way to go. It's been amazing watching this game transform over time and any critique or suggestion to help make it a more engaging and fun experience is invaluable to me.
