Hello. Is the "Foundations of Games Design" class/program held in-person or online?

I felt like I had to slow down everything just to shoot because the hitboxes of the enemies were so thin. If the colliders were taller it would probably have been easier to maintain the momentum of the gameplay. That's just my opinion though, maybe I was just playing it wrong or I'm bad at shooters.
the game is pretty neat, and the concept is very creative. it just needed more content; maybe some different enemy ships, some speed or fire rate upgrades for the player, or any other way to indicate progression or improve variety
also, the gravity thing was kind of annoying so you could probably replace it with a key you can press instead of it being automatic. i'd also suggest having enemies contribute to your score when killed, too
the names of the snakes were pretty funny and the game's concept is tried and true
different graphics for the different snakes would have provided more interesting variety
i also think the snakes are in general a little too expensive and get too expensive. maybe their cost should be added by a growing/constant amount instead of just doubling with each purchase, or give the later snakes a greater amount of coins per second or less of a delay
a more interesting addition would have been if you put more visuals or changed visuals overtime or something (a lot of games in this genre usually display little sprites of the stuff you bought in a space somewhere)
all in all, it's pretty good, but it could use some more polishing
A very interesting concept. I was disappointed by the lack of variation in enemies and scenery, and my game soft-locked one run because there was a room with pits blocking the boss room and I had already revoked my pit-dashing perk.
However, the idea of taking away perks as the game continued eventually became difficult and interesting, and the animations, as well as the pixel art, were pretty great.
