Perfect, I just made the purchase. It's too early to give a feedback, but boy did you nail the weird atmosphere, very lovecraftish indeed. :) And it also reminds me a bit on Ossuary in style and mood.

I thank you for what you do. It's always a pleasure to follow development. For me, Ambermoon.net is a perfect remake: You optimize and enhance it where it makes sense and make it more accessible without changing the rest. This way it stays the Ambermoon I played years ago with all its magic and uniqueness but feels modern and is excellently playable at the same time. This act of balancing is something almost no modern remake really manages to achieve. It's an absolutely terrific job you do!

I find it an excellent feature, seems really helpful. And it fits perfecly in the game by the looks of it.

Absolutely terrific! Wycheweald is brillant, I very much enjoyed it, I recorded it on cassette and tried it on my trusty old ZX Spectrum +2 and it felt utterly glorious. This one I'll play on The Spectrum. I'm astonished by how these games push the limits of the hardware and bring something new on the table at the same time. Really stunning work. And I love, how the sun indicates the time of the day - a seemingly small, yet very atmospheric detail. Brillant! Are there any plans to sell the games physically? I'd definitely purchase a cassette version.

It's a pleasure following development of your game. It's clearly a work of love and dedication and I'm glad to be onboard. I didn't venture far into the game as of yet as I fear not being able to continue in updated versions with my savegame. Is this fear justified?

"Savegames shouldn't be affected" means I can continue playing with my save games from 1.0, right (not: "in older savegames the changes won't work")? Just to be sure. ;)

I love the game btw, it was definitely worth the many years of waiting. I will miss the Crimson Gazette though. :(

I second that. This game is very pleasing even if the options and possiblities are limited gameplaywise. It's one of these little games that have that very special note you don't find too often. Would be a shame to keep it browser based. I too would love to have it as a standalone to download. I'd also gladly pay for it.

Hello. I followed your game from the early days on and really love what you've created here: A very unique, clever puzzle game with storyline and some of the best pixelart I've ever seen - an instant classic for the GBC. The jam version was a masterpiece already and I can't wait to see what you've been up to over the last years. I'd like to preorder the game but wanted to ask if it'll come with a digital download as well? I like to play many games emulated on other handheld devices nowadays (even though I still have two GBCs here).

Now that's very strange... yesterday the game would only start in
this 320x200 window (or whatever resolution it may be) and would go up to about 1280x something with alt+enter. Today (after a restart of the computer) it opens the game fullscreen right away. Very strange. But in a good way. ;)

Congrats! As with every game you release this is a day 1 purchase for me. One question: Is there no real fullscreen mode? Alt + enter only changes the window without going fullscreen.

I really like the 3D version, judging from the screenshot. Reminds me of the very first Alone in the Dark game (back in 1992).

Lovely experience. I filled the garden with a ton uf bugs, so many the game finally crashed. Guess I created a memory overload or something. 🙃

Highly interesting game. The PSX-aesthetics are impeccable, the sound- and music design fits perfectly and gameplay is challenging and fun. I just love the bizarre, creepy atmosphere. I congratulate you to this achievement.

Wow, that comes as a surprise (and a damn nice one at that!). I wasn't aware the release was imminent. Congratulations! Your earlier games are masterpieces so I'll not hestitate a second and push that "Buy Now" button right now.

That demo really made my retro senses itch like crazy so I was almost throwing my money at you - but then I read with dread that it's only a partial release. Now I made some bad experiences with games (particularly adventures) that had the plan to be released in multiple slices. Most of them never got far over the first episodes and got stuck forever. In addition, the last adventure that was planned to be released in six or seven chapters was Foxtails which, unfortunately, even after many years still is on chapter 3. There are positive examples too, of course - the brillant The Journey Down got its three chapters released fairly quickly for example. How do you plan to release the chapters? If a chapter will take roughly a year I could be dead before the full game's seven chapters are released. ;)

I'm very eager to try your game. Alas I'm totally at a loss as of how the two leading Spectrum Next emulators are to be configured to play it on my computer. Would it be possible to give a small step-by-step explanation how to emulate it the easiest way? Or to prepare the game so that it can just be copied in the emulator folder and executed with a prepared batch-file (as Pat did it with his Shovel Adventure)?

Just purchased the game as it reminded me on this fantastic freeware game Cliffall - Treasures of the Lost Cave - but man I did overread that stuff about copy protection. Why even use a copy protection for a game that's clearly extremely niche? There is basically zero chances it will ever find the attention of any pirate interests (that's not saying anything about the game's quality, it's just because it's not something mainstream at all), plus the price is so low that nobody, not even the most broken hobo, would ever consider pirate it anyway as it's easier to just purchase it like honest people do. Secondly, why choose such an utterly annoying way not seen since the darkest days of shareware? I don't want to be rude yet I find it really hard to understand such a decision.

Interesting! I already own Devolution in the boxed version from Polyplay and find it fantastic. Is there more information about Die Kaufmannsgilde?

Strange things are going on: Some minutes ago I downloaded the game, now it isn't possible to download it again and all I get if I click on the button is the demo and the soundtrack. I'm a backer.

edit: aaand now it's here again. Quite peculiar.

edit2: I think something is wrong: The game is now downloadable (the full version) even if you don't buy it. It's right on the main page together with the demo.

Hi. I just got the game here. One thing I immediately noticed is that there are some of the standard RPG-Maker-sound effects in the game. I noticed it when I loaded a game. Is it a placeholder? Other than that I really enjoy exploring the world you've created and look forward to further developments.

Hi. Congrats to the release! I just bought the bundle with both games but I'm struggling getting the real GB-color (green). I tried both BGB and VisualBoyAdvance but all I get is black and white. The respective color settings don't seem to do anything at all. Can you give me a hint or recommend a good emulator that does support the original green color? Thanks!

After being a longtime observer I finally purchased the game recently and would like to express the fondness I already have for it. It's such a pleasant experience driving through beautiful landscapes and controlling a railcar. I was never the simulator type but this game brings calmness and peace to my mind. I'd also like to add that I appreciate the dedication you have for your game, every update is a pleasure to read and I feel that the money was well spent. That's Early Access how it should be.
