My feelings... ;w;

I've actually been checking on this project for some time and I'm super excited to hear it's almost ready for release! Can't wait for spring!

Just wanted to ask if the characters are meant to be "Blue"? Added a screenshot down below. I am running the macOS version.

I don't normally want to cry over these short stories, but this just hits your where it hurts. Bravo, truly. What a masterpiece.

How do you start the 'Nameless' event?

Oof, I can feel the burning of wallets haha, I remember how much it was when I bought one lol

First time I've ever seen a vn dev support iOS, and I'm all here for it! Super cool of you guys to do this!

I can not figure out how to unlock anything related to Vandeel

For real lol. The quality of echo project vns are some of the best out there and we are getting access to them for free though, so I definitely won't complain! Hope they keep up the great work they're doing

I have this issue as well after a game over. Doesn't matter who it's with, happens every time.

It's appearing the same way for the $3 Patreon Version as well

Are builds no longer being posted to itch?

Was there an update to the game? I saw that there was one in my feed but I don't see a devlog post.

An update! I've been checking back so often to see if a new one has released and here it is! Can't wait to try it out 😄

The macOS version will launch for me and then crash shortly after. I have an apple silicon macbook so that might be why.

Omg the music lmao

I'm sorry I just can't not bring it up... Russell's hands are HUGE

I don't mean it's a bad thing but whenever I look at him the first thing that comes to mind is how big his hands are lmao 😭why you gotta do this to me Russell

Richard is getting more for the next patreon update I believe on the 16th this month, I don't know about the public build, sorry

Oh... oh no...

Excited to see what comes next!

Sad that next months update will be the last till everything's finished, but I'm excited for whatever the people who work on this create so if it means waiting, well then I'll do just that! Will patrons still receive monthly updates of the build though?

Is there a reason why Darrius was removed? If it is a private matter and you can not say I completely understand, just curious if there was one.

If you’re talking about the Apple Silicon (M1) macs, it will work fine for you! Of course any intel based mac should work as well as the game engine should support x86. The only issue I could see happening is if your mac is outdated or too slow. I really hope this isn't the case because I would also like for you to experience the demo too! Best of luck!

Just finished going through the demo, and I have to say I am excited to see where this will go! The mac version runs perfectly for me, even through the Rosetta translation so I have no doubts the intel macs can also run this just as well. No bugs or errors thankfully, just a wonderful introduction to the story!

I was going to wait for the next update, but I decided to just jump into the unfinished day, my heart, I don't know if I can take another cliffhanger TwT

Will there be a version for Macs in the future? I would really like to give this a try.

It's installing and working for me now, thank you for being so quick about it 👍

I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet, but the itch app on the mac won't show an install option. I can run it if I download from the browser, it's just harder to keep track of updates.

It also seems that the mac version doesn't show up as a platform this game can run on, even though you have a version for it

Again, I can run the game on my mac book, it just won't install via desktop app and it doesn't show up as compatible with MacOS

Sorry, I was referring to the Echo's little trilogy, Echo, Arches, and The Smoke Room (Not in that order mind you, it goes The Smoke Room, Echo, and then Arches if anyone was curious* edited this in)

To this day, I still struggle to come back. What I felt during Adastra with everyone in it struck me, hard. In good ways and in bad. I love the story, and I love the characters in this VN. I'm a big fan of Echo Project and the stuff they make, even if anytime they do something with those who have passed on makes me upset. Looking at you ancestor spirit of a certain goat. What they did here was amazing, just hearing the music of the menu page starts to make my emotions just flow out. If I was ever to recommend a first VN or just a VN to anyone, it would be Adastra.

That sounds odd... what platform are you using? I've done Harold's route a few time's and this hasn't happened before.

I don't know if all the content could be released on Steam, due to the NSFW content inside of EA. A sfw version is something to look for, but even so I feel like it'd really hurt the visual novel, and cut out a ton of scenes and content you'd experience here on itch and through patreon.

Which route are you currently playing? And be sure to try them all out! Some have really surprising twists and aspects to them you'd never expect just sticking to one route!

Finally hit 100 hours played according to the itch.io app. Can't wait to continue forward with everyone's route, and soon Richards as well!

I believe every route has their bad endings, so it can be a possibility I'm guessing.

Я тоже очень рад этому!

Could it be because they still have the old version of the app installed? I've read somewhere that if you still have the old version of a vn (this can happen to any of them) the installer will refuse to finish.

So you have to uninstall and reinstall the app using the new .apk file. Rip saves, but it's always safer to use new saves than old ones!

I do this all the time, though honestly depending on the reaction it kinda feels like I've let them down vwv

If you're using the Itch.io sandbox (which is totally fine, leave it on if you wish) I know a lot of web based applications will not work inside of it. You're best chance is to open it via browser.

If you feel like you have to have it in incognito, just copy the files location address i.e. E:\itch-games\finding-a-place (can be different) and paste it into the incognito address bar like you would a website. *quick fix: you will need to include the file + it's extension, sorry for the confusion! For me it appears as:

file:///E:/itch-games/finding-a-place/Finding%20A%20Place.html in Edge!

If not, just click on the gear icon next to the launch button, click manage, then open folder in explorer. You should find your .html file sitting right there. Double click on it and it should just automatically open in your default preference for opening html files!

Hope this helps! ^-^
