oh interesting, i just tried it again and it works now. the only thing that changed between them other than you changing the embed size is what window manager (also linux of course) i was using, so that might be it? i was in sway, before, but trying river right now.

fullscreen doesn’t work :( trying to play it non-fullscreen isn’t the easiest either, the browser gets a bit confused at the inputs (mainly shift+rightclick). seems like an interesting game though, i think i would enjoy it if it was a bit easier to actually play. i am on firefox, i know the description says it works best on chromium but i don’t like downloading a chromium browser every time a random site or game doesn’t work perfectly on firefox.
this is perfect in every way. is there a specific way to do the colors? i want to make some of my own custom cats and for them to be consistent.
a couple more demand-y questions - please don’t feel like you have to do them
- any plans for kittens? i will need some for my game and that’s a lot of work (hence why i’m using an asset pack in the first place)
- more action-y animations? (run, jumping, swiping?) i’m making an rpg lol
hi, there is a 1-second cooldown between letters to differentiate between them, otherwise the game would think it's all one big one lol. The entire UI and tutorial was hacked together during an all-nighter with no internet, (I got it back half an hour before submission time ended!) so... yeah, it's not great. I definitely missed a few things.
Make the player spell "POTION" to use it.
yeah we thought about making them spell an item to use it, but that takes a long time that they could be actively fighting. Also, how would it know whether you're trying to fight or something else? I guess if no enemies are selected, but currently there's no way to unselect one.
