Thanks for hosting the Jam and for the kind words. This submission is a slimmed-down version of a bigger game that was growing too ambitious for the timeline, but once we write up the full game I originally had in mind, I'll let you know!

Yea there was a chance I didn't actually start this thing - I planned it weeks ahead of knowing that this would be one of my busiest weeks this summer haha. There's an introductions page now if y'all want to make some new friends!
Although I originally wanted to do an analog game, I've been messing with GDevelop to see how I can leverage it to make a puzzle game. Tons of resources to learn it, but it's still going to take a bit of time to play around with it.

I'm Austin, a lecturing professor in neuroscience, biology, and psychology. My academic interests are in movement disorders (Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease) and substance use, and my gaming interests are in From Software games and roguelikes of all sorts, but also board games and tabletop RPGs (of which I read way more than I actually play).

Me, I'm stuck - game designers block is hitting hard! Twitter algorithm is burying all the meaningful science under (admittedly more fun) memes.
I'm bouncing back and forth between making a puzzle game about neurotransmission, or writing some inclusion-related TTRPG safety rules.
Where are you at right now?
