As someone who was stuck playing as a girl in ''Your turn to die'' I'm glad to finally play as a male MC in this game.

Although I find Demonstan's comment unnecessary rude ,they are actually right. Ctrl is used to skip text in 99 percent of visual novels.
If you require proof then check this link

These are the key bindings of the ''Renpy visual novel engine'' which is the most popular visual novel engine to this day.
It seems to me that this game is your first experience playing the massive series this game belongs to. All controls are already explained in an in-game tutorial in previous games of the series.
But regardless using Ctrl to skip text in a VN game has been an industry standard since the 90's. It's like how the left mouse button is always used to shoot in first-person games.
I'm honestly surprised you're not aware of this already.
I doubt it's Tyrano Builder.
Even though I have never heard of this engine before from what I read right now on Google it seems like this is a Japanese engine that was created back in the day and didn't have English support
So unless the dev is Japanese which I somehow doubt I don't think they are using Tyrano Builder.
If this isn't a GameMaker engine, my second guess would be the Monogatari Visual Novel engine.
This engine is also Japanese sure but it has official English support and I've seen many people in the West use it to make visual novels.
Of course I could be wrong but after watching this overview I'm 80 percent sure its renpy or a variant of it
or it could be godot:
I also want to know what kind of engine you used to create this game.
I don't think this is Renpy because I played a lot of visual novels created in Renpy and they have a certain aesthetic to them, but I also don't think this visual novel was created in Unity or Construct.
I'm actually interested in the engine name if you don't mind sharing it because it looks neat and unique looking. I'm also kind of a freak when it comes down to game engine since it's my hobby so whenever I find a new engine I just have to know its name.
If I have to guess but based on the UI used in this game and the way the game is scripted, I will say it was created in Gamemaker engine. You can the similarities very clearly in this vid but then again, I could be wrong.
First, you should definitely mention to the player that pressing the pressing the ''square at the lower right'' of the game will let them play the game in full screen.
I found the game 10 times better when I toggled full screen on.
Now on to my review:
Man, this is my first time playing one of your VN and I already want to know the continuation. The plot and music are top-notch. I guess I should use my time free to get to check the other games in the series.
Amazing job though. Loved the story :)
I got ejected from the space fr
Wonderful work. It's so hard these days to make an actual horror game since the genre is overly saturated but you sir/madam have done an amazing job with this game.
The atmosphere and gameplay are simply brilliant. I might even play more of on stream at one point.
Thanks for the game and best of luck in your future works
Peak game
I still haven't gotten all the endings yet. I'm trying to enjoy every single moment of this game and explore every choice, even choices I know will just lead to a bad ending.
I can tell a lot of work and passion went into this game I guess that's the difference between indie developers and greedy corporate game studios
