Thanks a bunch! I ended up leaving a lot of the polish and music until the end and couldn't get any ambiance or tense music done in time for the deadline. I did have some ideas for a mini-puzzle to cool down but again, in the end I couldn't find any time for it. I'll be sure to check your game out too!

this game is really good and has a ton of replayability value. it fits the theme of the jam alright (with the lava and all) and is easy to pick up yet so hard to put down.

This is really good! Only word of advice is maybe add a background texture, even just something simple like alternating grays or something. Otherwise, a brilliant game!
