Thanks for reporting this! That bug has to do with certain party members being KO'd after the bossfight when the party is being reorganized (more specifically, the way the cutscene is coded involves every party member except for one being removed, and if that party member is KO'd then the game sees that as the entire party being KO'd, hence the gameover.) I'll make sure that's fixed for the next patch, though honestly I have no idea why turning on diet mode fixed the issue (but I'm glad it did!)

They aren't all implemented at the moment. Once Ancestor Isle is available (in a couple of updates) you'll be able to collect the last few and finish the quest!

FINAL UPDATE: WE DID IT!! Full details on the Axu2 Discord, but suffice to say the drive has hit its final stretch goal! Thank you all so much for your support! I will never forget this!!

UPDATE: I've extended the drive until 11:59 PM on Sunday the 23rd! We're currently sitting at $185 CAD, and the second stretch goal is at $200, so if you want to see some bloaty Natasha goodness added to the game, consider donating to push us over the finish line! You can donate either via paypal to axlwisp@gmail.com or via the drive's Gofundme (link below.) Cheers!

UPDATE: We've hit the first stretch goal! Natasha will be getting 4 new faces in the next update! The next stretch goal is a good one. It guarantees a Natasha-themed quest that involves a floating house and several different varieties of alcohol!

Also, I've started a Gofundme to make donations easier! https://www.gofundme.com/f/axugaem2-travel-drive?utm_medium=customer&utm_source=copy_link&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&lang=en_US&attribution_id=sl%3Ab2049812-e075-4ba8-9b7b-71ef749ceb22 You can still donate via paypal, but folks were asking for a second option, so here you go!

--------------

Hi all! There's a full announcement regarding this drive on the Axugaem2 Discord, which I invite you to check out here: https://discord.gg/tQQUuctXvC

Thanks for your time, and for enjoying Axugaem2!

It's not a bug, just some dialogue I need to rephrase! It's not stated anywhere at the time, but you need to have recruited Ashley or Cedric before Elmira will respond to Abby's request by giving you a different task related to one of those two characters. Completing that quest and then talking to Elmira again will fulfill Abby's request.

I've seen some joiplay playthroughs that are missing certain visual assets, and my only suggestion based on that would be to redownload the game and see if that changes anything. Beyond that, I have no idea ^^; I don't use joiplay myself, so any bugs that occur from using it are beyond my area of expertise.

I'm going to add a fragment to the fire elemental side to balance out that particular issue, but since not all the fragments are in the game yet anyway, it's not something to worry about at the moment. That said, the light side is probably the less annoying of the two, if only because if you side with the fire elementals then the angels in the Blightwood Entrance map will chase you and constantly pick fights with you (that is also on my list of things to fix lol).

SPOILERS: There are two ways to fatten enemies currently. The first is by recruiting the secret character, Elmira. If you bring Abby back to the Inn in Crabshoot Bay and talk to the blonde singer, it'll start a questline that ends with her joining the party. She has the power to fatten enemies using her Adipomancy skill!
The second way is through the Calorie Bomb item, which is very rare and only really found later in the game. There's a sidequest involving Ashley later on which gives you a few Calorie Bombs to use.

I don't test these games on mobile, so I can't say for sure what the issue is, but isn't MPV a media player app for android? If so, you may just have to download it from the app store and then try running the game.

Thank you so much for the review and the kind words! I can't express how much it means to hear that you've enjoyed the game's story and characters! I know adding so much lore to a fetish game is kind of a funny thing to do, but it's been a labour of love, so knowing that the game hits some emotional marks for some people just never fails to make my day! I'll do my best to have the coming update polished up and released as soon as I'm able!

Thank you so much! It means a lot that you've enjoyed the game so much! I'm hoping to have the next update out in early to mid September. If you're interested in following the latest on the update, I post about it on my Patreon and on the game's Discord (the game page has links to both .)

Some of the game's art assets are collected on my DeviantArt: https://www.deviantart.com/axlwisp Others (namely the ones featured as teasers for the last few updates) are on my Patreon, though you have to be a subscriber to see them: https://www.patreon.com/Axugaem2

I'd double-check all the upper floors and make sure you didn't miss a room! There are a couple of second floor areas where you can both drop down and continue ascending, and both should be accessible without having to have a bridge in place anywhere. If you've retracted your steps and still can't figure it out, let me know and I'll look into the game data to confirm if it's a bug.

That's a tougher question than it maybe should be for me at this point, lol. It will depend on how much work I decide to put into the 'second act' of the game, which is everything after the Earth Temple (which will be added in the next update). It will be much shorter than the first act, but there are also lots of large story scenes and potentially complicated interactions, plus a postgame to think about, so it might take quite a while to finish! As of right now, I still don't have a good estimate ^^;

Thanks for playing and enjoying the games, and for the thoughtful comment! I'll take everything you've said here into account as I continue to balance and improve both games, but to address a couple of the things you mentioned...
Kira doesn't have the greatest memory (or the greatest critical thinking skills for that matter), except in very selective cases. Axugaem1 (which isn't up on itch.io but which you can find on my DeviantArt) gets into her backstory a little more, particularly her relationship with her sister, which is partly to blame for Kira's unusual demeanour.
And it's nice to hear that you like the story and characters! I've always found RPGs to be a unique means of telling stories and getting to know characters. They're definitely the focus of basically anything I do that isn't straight-up a fetish art commission, so it means a lot knowing people find them interesting and engaging! Good luck with your own game!

So happy you enjoyed the game!! The good end can only be obtained in a new game + run by reaching the final cutscene having fed a certain character the first five cooking recipes. I might make it a bit more intuitive with a coming patch depending on how hard a time people have finding it!

Fair point! I'm putting out a quality of life patch later today, so I'll add that in, along with a few other additions to make the early game a bit less brutal!

Is that when you download the new update and try to extract it? If so, I'd delete the file, make sure your old Axu2 folder is gone and your saves are in a safe place, then download the new update again and try extracting.

Here's a quick guide from the Discord on how to transfer your saves from an old Axugaem2 update's folder to the new one.
1) Find your old Axugaem2 game folder (it'll be wherever you saved it.)
2) Locate the save files (they should be in the main game folder and named something like Save01.rvdata2). Copy/paste the save files somewhere safe (like dropbox or your desktop; anywhere you'll be able to locate them.)
3) Delete the Axugaem2 folder.
4) Download and unpack the new update!
5) Copy/paste your old saves into the new update's folder (in the same place as they were in the old folder.)
6) Start the game up and enjoy!

Have you gotten to Spire yet? If not, do the following:
1) Take the top exit out of Khur and go through the Magma Tunnel, then go all the way to the bridge to the volcano at the top of the world map.
2) Once you're there (The map should change to Lord's Bridge), progress through a few cutscenes and go through Spire until you reach the Obsidian Lords' throne near the top.
3) After talking with the Obsidian Lords near the top of Spire, you should be told to go to the neighbouring beach town of Old Nyaren and talk to someone there named Riley about getting a boat. You can find her in the Alchemist's Lair opposite the water.
4) Once Riley's agreed to let you use her boat, you'll have to take the boat to Blightwood, where you can ally with either the angels or Fire Elementals in order to gain the trust of someone who will eventually get you into the Fire Temple.
Getting to the Fire Temple itself will take a while, but start with the steps listed above and you should have no problem progressing to that point!

I'm really sorry that parts of it are so disproportionately tough, because they are, and sometimes I need to hear that! Hearing constructive feedback like this helps me out a lot in balancing the game, and since I've heard from a few people about how hard the merleen fight is specifically, I'm absolutely keeping it in mind and will reduce its difficulty for the coming update so that it's less of a pain in the ass.

This part of the game is a bit unintuitive (I'm hoping to implement a main questline in the quest journal to make it easier to keep track). In the current absence of such a questline, here's a step-by-step guide:
1) Enter the Sand Swamp from the left side and immediately turn down. You should find yourself in an area that was previously inaccessible due to a skeleton standing in the way. Beyond this area are the Thunder Highlands (part of the world map). Take the opportunity to travel to the small dock at the bottom of the Highlands and talk to the green-robed figure (his name's Vico and he'll join your party).

2) Go to the big mountain on the right side of the Thunder Highlands. This is the Thundercrag and is a mini-dungeon at the top of which you'll find a stranded neko named Natasha. Rescue her and make sure to read the dialogue, since she'll offer to meet you back in Windrush Canyon, on the roof of the Racing Commons.

3) Meet Natasha on the Racing Commons roof. There will be a brief dialogue after which she'll ask you to meet her at the lighthouse across the water from Costa Del Nyan. It's next to Leslie's House on the World Map, in the wide open fieldy-area on the very right-hand side of the same continent as the Sand Swamp and Thunder Highlands.

4) Meet Natasha at the aforementioned Lighthouse and she'll lend you a stonebird to reach Split Palm Island, which is your ticket to eventually reaching the Air Temple. Things should be fairly straightforward from there (and you'll receive a travel gem once you go to the island so you can return to it from anywhere on the World Map).

Bit late to the party here, but here are some tips in the unlikely event that this is still relevant:
1. Switch to Goro Stance with Abby and put up a reflect screen at multiple points during the fight, especially when the merleen is about to spout water all over the place. A fair bit of the merfolks' damage is magical, so reflecting it should help you endure their assault.
2. Focus down one of the smaller merfolk first. I recommend focusing on the duelist if you can get constant reflect-screens up, as it reduces the types of damage you have to worry about. Otherwise, focus on the shellsinger if you aren't concerned about the duelist's damage output. The merleen figurehead likely has too much HP to burst down quickly, but she is manageable without her adds.
