No, Steam doesn't allow games like this (or at least I wouldn't want to take the risk) and I'm honestly not happy enough with the state of this game to send it to Steam. I honestly would like to remake it from the ground up but I don't really have contact with the people who did the visual art anymore.

That sounds like a recent issue or an issue with your specific computer; it worked fine on Windows when it was published (Windows 7 and Windows 10, at least) and that wasn't ever a glitch that the macOS version had (macOS did have a couple of odd glitches, though, which we never quite figured out how to fix). If it's not working on your system and you want a refund, though, feel free to email itch.io support!
Haven't had like anyone come to playtest it yet so anything more I release is gonna be entirely unplaytested, unfortunately. If you're interested in playtesting, please join the Discord! https://discord.me/babybunch
Here's what it shows for me now: https://i.imgur.com/wKoj8Rm.png
Re-saved it to make sure it says $0. Mind checking it again for me to make sure it only requests $0 now? Regardless, nobody ever paid $2 for it (only had one payment for this game ever which was pretty obviously manually entered because it was an uneven amount of dollars and cents).
This is a new issue caused by an error in a virus database; the game hasn't changed at all to cause this. Unfortunately, until this virus database is updated, there isn't really a way to fix it. I might try pushing an update to Robo-Nanny to add another feature and see if that fixes it but I don't really have control over Malwarebytes's virus database, unfortunately.
They actually are labeled; I 100% agree with you. Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, I can't label the button as "pre-order" without making it so that nobody can download anything. If I switch to "pre-order", it assumes all the files I'm uploading are placeholders and doesn't let you download anything. If I'm mistaken and you know how to make it show "pre-order" on itch.io, please let me know and I'll switch all applicable projects to show pre-order.

I don't even know :c I'm making steady progress and I've been posting update logs on Patreon but I keep being one step from release. I've gotten most of the code working; just need to make sure items work right as well as victory/game over then I'll be releasing the first build. Victory and game over are really simple and should take like an hour total; items are the real bugger. Hopefully it won't take long for those either if everything behaves well.
Wait, really? There was more to that text for sure. Let me take a look and see what's wrong.
EDIT: Okay, I'm just stupid. I included an old WIP version of that file in the last build instead of the updated version. Gimme a sec to upload the correct version; I swear I fixed this multiple builds ago >.>
EDIT2: I did fix it multiple builds ago. I just somehow got left with an old file.
